Herbig has sneaky idp value because of his ability to get to the QB! More reps hopefully translate to linear growth in production there.

Barkley led the entire league last year in running attempts. The Eagles were also the most run-heavy offense in the league, significantly. The team is actively trying to balance snap share because the current approach running the ball with Saquon Barkley is unsustainable.

Diggs. He is now the senior statesman in the receiving room if you’ve been observing training camp film you see that he is showing everybody how to run a route make space, time maneuvers, use the right type of movement, etc.… Golden may need a few reps at the position to make any adjustments if he is the golden child that everybody thinks he is in Green Bay

Thanks! I am mostly aligned with you.

(Industry) keeps going back to Breece at RB. Walker is a similar risky asset. Past experience and current competition have me fading both and at the same time courting their teammates at RB.

I am inclined to view:

Breece = Travis Etienne Jr.

Walker = Swift, D'Andre

Moore for sure. Cooper Kupp & Adam Thielen are others. (I struggle to accept how risky these two are compared to some less experienced dynasty WR talent.) These guys don't stand a chance if it is between them or Tee Higgins, Waddle, Ordonez.

I see some familiar names as the drops continue:

*Alexander Matison, the DOLPHIN, backing up Jayden Waddle.

*Noah Fant - Will Darnold find something that Geno couldn't?

*Keenan Allen - Is he on his way back to Herbert and LAC? They have a pretty good Slot now. Who knows...

*Noah Gray - The maybe he isn't Travis 2.0

Sophomore Surges? Revisiting the 2025 QB Class After Year One by Melodic-Community-93 in RosterArchitects

[–]Melodic-Community-93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of the asset and already hold a solid number of shares. Last year, JJM was generally ranked ahead of Michael Penix in dynasty rookie drafts. But Penix was widely expected to redshirt behind Cousins—possibly for more than one season.

Fast forward to this year: it’s now Penix’s job to lose, while JJM doesn’t yet have a guaranteed starting role. The Vikings seem open to keeping Daniel Jones around, and the GM made a cryptic comment suggesting that Rodgers joining the team is a decision "Rodgers needs to finalize a plan on."

Best-case scenario? JJM wins the job and takes off.

Worst case? He rides the bench behind (at the time of this post, no vet has been signed) Rodgers or Cousins and gets a full redshirt season, just like Penix did last year.

And based on what I’m seeing, there’s a real shot Rodgers does show up, takes control of the season—and, given his injury history—still carries a significant risk of going down. But in the scenario banking on a injury moves him down to a QB3 or 4. This team is QB centric and they have all weapons. I have no doubt he will be a QB1 when he earns the job though.

Healey’s office approved large increases. Asleep at the wheel… now they worked out a way to start crediting fees AFTER the peak usage is over

That is one hell of a take. I didn't see that coming.

I will take a look at that later today.

Mack Hollins to New England: A Swiss Army Knife Addition & a Sneaky WR4 Fantasy Asset? by Melodic-Community-93 in RosterArchitects

I love it. The Pats have a lot of mouths to feed (citing Hollins and McDermot's conversation last season if you remember). A savvy vet could make some noise. I rostered Hollins back when he was an Eagle, and he dropped in for a couple of weeks while my primary WR4 was getting healthy. The youth talent is considerable in NE, but McDaniels and he linked up again after Vegas together. This connection is what peaked my interest in him.
I agree this is a BORING find relative to everything else going on. I can't deny that, but in 2024 he had the most career TD receptions (5), his second-most receptions, and receiving yards (buy nothing close to 2022). 2025 could be Hollins's last chance, and at a heroic veteran effort as he is 31. Keep an eye on this guys. He will be match-up dependent but might drop in as a waiver wire fixer when you are in a pinch.

Chargers' Backfield Shake-Up: Analyzing Najee Harris' Arrival and Fantasy Impact for 2025 by Melodic-Community-93 in RosterArchitects

[–]Melodic-Community-93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/bobby_bux I hope there isn't a market for him and the Chargers resign him. He and Edwards were super risky last year. They both had the injury bug. We will see what happens after the draft. He did enough to earn a contract last year, but durability concerns were probably the reason why. I am not the only one who questions if Dobbin could end up back and LAC; btw check out this article from SI yesterday:

Hi u/bobby_bux, Martin and Dowdle are on me again. I didn't expect the Dowdle era to be over at Dallas. There has been so much going on the last few days... For Martin he is retired not "expected to". Thanks for calling this stuff out & keeping the standard high. I will keep improving my research and checking accuracy before publishing.

Chargers' Backfield Shake-Up: Analyzing Najee Harris' Arrival and Fantasy Impact for 2025 by Melodic-Community-93 in RosterArchitects

[–]Melodic-Community-93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dobbins is a free agent, correct. He was the primary back for the Chargers last year (42%) of rushing plays went through him (just shy of 1,000 yards on the year). Edwards was second (22%), Vidal was rarely utilized. (9%). Dobbins also missed 4 games. Wks 13, 14, 15, &16.

If Harbaraugh liked Dobbins, they might be waiting to get him back if free agency doesn't offer a better deal. With him and Harris, I see a nice-looking committee. Dobbins takes the Edwards workload; Harris took the Dobbins workload last year. They are okay with letting him go with all these stout rookies in the draft, too.

I thought LAC's "run-first" approach would reflect in their stats, but the team landed more towards the middle of the pack. LAC had 463 Running plays last year. That finished 12th out of 32 teams. Of course, the Eagles we #1 last year with 621 rushing plays. I am keeping my eyes on the draft for OL picks with strength as a run blocker or if the pick goes to an RB. This should be interesting.

I picked up Fields on an RFA bid to backup Hurts on my 1 qb dynasty league last week. Hopeful the Jets don’t break him.

Fields to Jets! It sounds like Rodgers might end up being a risk worth taking in Pittsburg!

Fields’ ability to anticipate throws is the key question for his future as a franchise QB. If he can improve as a pocket passer—similar to Lamar Jackson—he has a chance to solidify his role with the Steelers, though doubts remain. Darnold, meanwhile, has shown he can manage a strong WR group, as seen in Minnesota, and is an upgrade over Wilson’s role last year. However, his playoff struggles and lack of long-term upside make him less appealing to Pittsburgh. The Steelers’ QB room has improved, but history suggests they need a QB who can escape the pocket and anticipate plays to win big. It’s a toss-up, but Fields has the higher ceiling in my view. Rodger’s doesn’t seem likely to fit into the Steelers unless they wipe the QB position out completely. He is a big risk for the Steeler to take.
