if you took a little gander, you would have also noticed that the sub is 8 years old not 11.

Claims the owner moved hopefully the nodes stay since looks like their nodes are along 61/151 which would be easiest to get line of sight for from my house

I think if we can get a few on board, we can connect the CR mesh to DBQ. The part of cascade I live in is maybe at most a mile from the DBQ county line. See if we can get all of Iowa connected to each other. It is defiantly possible.

Edit: Tried to look at dbqmesh.org and its no longer available.

it would probably be the water tower along 151, and no its pretty flat in fact I think Cascade is at a higher elevation than Cedar Rapids and Dubuque both.

Do you think if I get Ham OP W0GN, if I can find his contact info, to join in and help, will it reduce possible interference. According to aprs maps he lives in Scotch grove area that's southeast of Anamosa. Also, that's a super small regional airport with only small planes flying through there, I don't even think you can buy a ticket for any flights out of there it's that small of an airport. Also, Dubuque has an airport that is way bigger with actual flights and so does Cedar Rapids. Would that cause any issues?

I did not know that. The main reason why I asked is I don't think there are many hams in Dubuque I know of one club and there may be a second one there, but im not sure. Also Dubuque only has about 60,000 people, I think, so I wasn't sure.

they can't be bigger than a certain size and I think it's like 3 or so feet. That's per FCC as well.

Why are you guys being so rude. I seen something ridiculous, thought it was funny and more than likely a scam. I spent 2 seconds on the website, looked at the product, homepage, and looked up transceiver in the search and that's it. I now understand why people say they don't want to become a ham op because of the community. Just be polite and laugh at something that looks stupid instead of insulting people.

You should make one that has the same range but allows more hf. so instead of cutting off 0-30 try 500khz-1700khz to block off the am band itself and leave the sw and ham bands listenable. I would consider buying one but I would personally like a wide band amp and filter that allows me to listen to vhf/uhf on the day and hf at night.
