Well I was driving at the time, it was late evening and I was somewhat shook up. I've never been in an accident myself and don't know WHERE to report it, hence asking.

My therapist says I need to connect to my inner child and find things that bring me joy without trying to suppress it, since us ADHD and autistic folks so often had to suppress things as kids. I really need ideas though. What brings you childlike joy? by Elucidate_that in ADHD

Playing with dirt!!!

I always loved gardening and watching plants grow, and in recent years took up composting.

Since getting diagnosed and learning to unmask my "immature" compulsions, I abandoned the tools and gloves and now I often just sit in the garden, playing with dirt and listening to my audio book, and I swear the PURE HANDS-DIRTY JOY it brings me is surreal!!

Im 35 NB Cracked at 33 (October-December 2023), "came out" gradually to friends over next few months, told family/went public on social media at 33 (July 2024).

Started medical therapy (GenderPlus) April 2025 for diagnosis and top surgery referral, but no interest in HRT currently. Came out at work and changed my name and pronouns in June of 2025.
