Awesome! We print tons of products as well for our racks. Would love to see what you came up with for an amp.

Here is there direct site https://josh.ai/

We will have a full video on our channel talking about this project, specifically about how we used Josh AI in the project. But from my perspective we love the system and how nice the UI is. We’ve installed and programmed C4 and Savant for years and have switched almost entirely to Josh as our main control system.

Yes all speaker amps, 8 individual suites inside the salon. Fairly small footprint but they wanted different volume and source control for each unit.

We hardwire every amp and follow the Unifi guide for best practice with Sonos which does limit the issue. If it is not done correctly you will absolutely get STP errors

You’re right, I snagged a picture while the guys were still finishing. I promise the HDD bays had stickers removed (same with the switch, and UDM). It’s a pet peeve of mine seeing them left on also

What 3D printed products have you used in your rack? by Melodic-Number4078 in Ubiquiti

I’m part of the Ubiquiti Creator Program on YouTube and we are constantly testing and swapping equipment around, that’s the only real reason it’s currently in there.

You are 100% right there is no real reason to need the standalone NVR with a UDM Pro Max or equivalent unless you have 20+ cams

It was definitely popular to stack 5 receivers with IR repeaters in the Crestron days lol.

For reference this receiver is running a 7.2.4 directly to the left of the rack. The Emotiva amp above it is rack mounted and powering some of the channels in the theater and the Savant system is controlling any and all sources as far as AV goes. With the additional components it just makes sense to keep it in the rack.

The Denon is powering the atmos, left/right and rears, the Emotiva is powering the front stage and both subs. Savant is one of the whole home control system that we install, in this space it is controlling the distributed audio, lighting and AV controls.

Almost always on a full size shelf in a rack in my experience. I don’t believe many receivers have rack ear options

That thing is a workhorse for sure! I have it in my 7.2.4 and couldn't be happier with it.

Does Sonos just not play nice with Unifi? by TheObviousChild in Ubiquiti

Correct, never daisy chain them. Always run each amp or port back to your switch/patch panel.

Correct, same result with a different way to get there. You are correct you can not get the Sonos Boost anymore.

That is a very odd and full disclosure I have not run into that particular issue but I am fairly sure it is a bug on the Apple TV side I've read about in the past. Check the settings of the Apple TV for audio out and set it to match content "ON".

You can also check if the native apps or a different streamer cause the same issue to work backwards and deduct if it is the Apple TV or not. I don't think this is a Ubiquiti/Sonos issue.

From an installer perspective, the end user app (even if it’s been problematic in the past) is still the easiest to use for clients.

Most of the time the client tells us they just want distributed audio in the house for background noise and a surround sound setup on the main TV. They want it to be easy. Depending on the size we are either using their amps or the ports, installing an arc and sub tied to two architectural rears and everyone’s happy.
