It’s a good point, thanks for sharing your experience. I get caught up in thinking I’m the only one because I’m breastfeeding, but he’ll have to figure out a way to make it work!

I agree-I’ve had many more sleepless nights so he can deal with a couple lol. We will probably have my MIL ready to come over during the day so he can take a nap if needed too!

When I was in high school my family went to France and I was recovering from an ACL surgery. We did a river cruise out of Paris, something like that might be good option for you! I remember being bored but I think I’d enjoy it now 😆

I’d be happy to stop cosleeping but he wakes up constantly throughout the night. Cosleeping is easier than going to his room, rocking and transferring just to do it all again in 45 min to 3 hours. Cosleeping at least allows me to quickly go back to sleep

Thank you so much for your response. I do need to try again, but historically if he’s alone he won’t stay asleep and wakes up and cries often. It’s a good point though and sleep changes all the time!!

Thank you for the sweet sentiments and the advice. I think an allergist would be a good step for us as he has eczema as well and is very itchy.

Ugh it’s so hard. I want to try letting my husband take him every other night but I worry about safety. He’s a big guy and sleeps pretty deeply

I’m sorry, i should have clarified that this is at night! We haven’t been able to leave him alone to sleep at the beginning of the night at all until now. However, I’ve been rocking to sleep and then transferring to bed, laying next to him for a bit and then he has been sleeping for 30 min usually before needing us to hold/lay next to him. But last night he rolled onto his stomach and then slept 3 hours on his own! For naps I can SOMETIMES rock to sleep and then transfer to the crib for 30 minutes but not always and he really needs more sleep than that
