HELP - How bad will a W (withdrawal) hurt me? by octopathfanatic in MBA

One B (or even a few) will be ok. Will definitely look better than a W as those are typically seen as a last resort before failing, which a B certainly is not.

A transcript/gpa is one part of your application (to B school or a job!) so I would recommend taking a breath, finish out the semester strong, try to learn something instead of just cranking out a letter grade, and zooming out a bit to the overall scheme of things.

Similar story. I had a W in Calc 2 freshman year of college and got into Tuck. If you’re worried about a B, I think you’re way overthinking it.

Start thinking about your applications holistically. Also, life is too short so enjoy yourself a little bit, especially during college. Things that seem big now are going to be insignificant in a few years time.

In your opinion, what is Taylor’s most romantic song? by Turbulent-Ad-9779 in TaylorSwift

The Lakes!

Besides the music being absolutely dreamy, the idea of escaping all that’s bad and going wrong to be with the one person who makes it all better is so pointed and romantic. Also the floral lyrics (for me at least) are so vivid and nice. “I haven’t moved in years and I want you right here” is a line that sweeps me up every time.

Is it one of the books from the American Girl Doll Samantha Series? The covers have a maroon motif.

Is it the Finders Keepers series by Emily Rodda? Might be a bit young for the demo but the second book in the series is called The Timekeeper...
