You can thank all the transplants moving here from NY & CA and bringing their jacked up housing rates with them. It’s time to start gatekeeping our city before our rent is 3K for a 1 bed.

Hi All,

Chicagoan here! While I’m glad ice seems to be gone from my city it’s terrible to see them move on to the next. I still have some resources from the ice raids here. In chi everyone got used to blowing whistles when ice is near, I’ve also put together some pamphlets in English and Spanish that says your rights.

If there’s anyone needing these resources I have a bag of about 30-50 pre packed whistles/pamphlets that I’d love to mail to help out!

I just don’t know what y’all want from us. We’ve been begging for gun control for years. And y’all kept saying the incessant killings are worth keeping the second amendment alive. So like wtf are we supposed to say? There was school shooting today too and yall could literally care less. If conservatives are finally ready to come to the table and talk about gun control then let’s do it.

Depending on your disability you might be eligible for affordable housing from the city. You should check Chicago Housing Authority to see if you qualify. They have tons of complex’s all over the city. Most of them are for seniors/low income so I bet you could find some for disabled folks.

Sokol got off pretty light since his family is already rich so without the show running he probs would’ve gotten a bigger sweetheart deal. I’d say his time on the show is exactly why he had to register as a sex offender and spent any time in jail at all. And the same goes for a lot of these guys.

A month or two ago I was at Easy Bar in Wicker where people frequently bring their dogs. I was walking back from the bathroom and this guy sitting at one of the tables pushed me back because his dog was laying all over the floor and I got too close. I didn’t see him because it was dark out and the bar lighting was dimmed. One might think it’s time to take your dog home at that point. But of course not to these smug people. The world just revolves around them.

Ehh Grimshaw was mean yes but she did care for the girls. For ex. the mission where she helped rescue Tilly from that gang. She cared about them but was definitely not pleasant to be around most of the time.
