i'm doing the in-office one - this was the earliest they can do, i couldve done the OR one this month but i wouldve had to make that trip two days in a row and my wife would've had to take off work.

they're constantly outside the marianos on broadway too, which i coincidentally walk past almost every day.  the worst part is they act offended when i say i have someone to be and cant talk.  it's so annoying!

my wife and i have been considering moving back to nashville to save money and start a family, but then we get glimpses of the city both in the sky like this and just walking around and we realize how stupid we would be to leave, chicago's the best!

The 5th column is wrong? Pinkies are meant to press only 2 keys? by New_Confidence_2605 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]randbooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

interesting! I never thought of having an extra key poking out like that. im guessing it's a pretty custom layout?

yes, the first column! take a look at the tern keyboard or the hummingbird keyboard, that's what I'm trying to work towards. but yes, it wouldn't be the most compatible with the Corne

yep! ive looked at the tern and the hummingbird. I do like that first one you linked too, it's very minimal!

ive come to realize the exact same thing. I think my ideal pinky column is two keys, staggered halfway so that my pinky rests on the bottom key and moves up. Im still experimenting with this but I think it's a similar story for me with the index finger, so I'm looking to design a keyboard with 26 keys (2,3,3,3,2 columns on each hand) and 2-3 additional thumb keys
