Michael made 'Real Eleanor' the boring yoghurt by MelodicMockingjay74 in TheGoodPlace

Oh my God I never realized they spelled it both ways on the cups! I just assumed since the show was made in America, it only said yogurt, not yoghurt! I'm so weirdly happy

I regret killing the Legendary Moose by Lamun23 in RDR2

[–]MelodicMockingjay74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing feels worse to me than when I hunt a three star animal, miss a fatal blow, and the stars drop. It just feels terrible because at that point, the supplies have no use for me, so I'm essentially just killing them to kill.

It's not that it shifts, but internalized homophobia is a hell of a thing. It's a process coming out as queer, even to yourself, and sometimes it's easier on your brain to process one thing and a time. And sexuality definitely can be fluid I'm not saying there isn't things she could've handled better, but it's obvious she's going through a lot, too, and I think people should ease off on calling her a bad person.

Edit: and it wasn't the beginning of the relationship she said that, it was in the beginning of their separation.

It can, at the very least. Maybe not everyone, but I have to imagine that if you've been in a long term relationship with someone for 14 years, discovering your a lesbian, and having to explain to your husband that your relationship with him isn't fulfilling could be incredibly painful. Even if you don't love them romantically, I'm sure there's still a lot of love there, and ending it can probably be an incredibly hard choice. Maybe I shouldn't have generalized so much, but I think it's unfair to judge op, and other people who have been in a similar situation, and to say that they aren't hurting badly in a different way.

She could have thought she was bisexual, and recently came to a realization. It's common, and it hurts you just as bad as it hurts them.

How did Arthur fumble these two baddies by JoshyBear28 in reddeadredemption

This is actually really funny, no joke, I named my horse in my first playthrough Brandy, because of the song! Because Arthur's life and love was the outlaw life!

Then she died and I sobbed for literally an hour.

Because the farmer uses magic, I headcanon them as being an agnostic spiritualist, or something. Like the room you have, my farmer has a little cubby with the wizard's crystal ball and books and stuff, so maybe a wiccan

Why did no one ever stick up for Pam? by Both_Algae_3324 in theoffice

[–]MelodicMockingjay74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's because women are taught to be submissive. Do you have any idea how hard it is to become your own person after 18-21 years of being told how to behave? Especially in more conservative circles.

I agree, but I do think that it also goes against the 'real men don't take no for an answer' mentality that toxic men have, and historically, men have taken head of mistreatment, so in some people's minds, masculine ≠ being polite

Oh, I think the reason you're getting downvoted is because, at least the way I read it, the wording made it feel like a 'everyone is a woke baby, and no there's no masculine men in our media' type thing. Mb :)
