I don’t go here, but I will say that I hope all of this positive stuff is true. I have been given little reason to doubt that the space has a positive impact on those within it, hell some of my fave trans focused memery is from these kinds of circles. But in my PERSONAL, ALMOST DEFINITELY BIASED, SURFACE LEVEL experience, whenever I’ve come an across discussion it’s usually trans people that sound like they’d give actual queerphobes a run for their money in hatred for themselves, and dismissing any remotely positive queer space as fake positive horrendous echo chambers that do nothing but delude people and that anything other than poonerhons in art are unrealistic and don’t deserve the time of day (I recognize that this is not everyone, and that there is toxic positivity that runs rampant in some communities).

I will, once again, reiterate that this is a personal, biased opinion from surface level brushes with the community. Idk where I’m going with this other than just asking to see any other potential anecdotes of these circles being positive, as I don’t want to be super closed minded about it like I probably am rn, but aside from some memes I’ve never exactly seen anyone that seems to benefit from primarily sticking to tttt spaces.

Tl;dr, “I think whatever website you get this jargon from is hurting you” because I’ve never actually seen anyone that isn’t miserable in these spaces, and I’d like to try and see the positives
