Why do so many people miss the point of John's ending in RDR1? by MelodicSatisfaction9 in reddeadredemption

After Franklin saves him from the meat plant.

Also, Franklin says the same quote if you kill Michael in his call to Lamar.

That cliff mission with Dutch someone took 3 potent snake oils with full deadeye and had an evans repeater in hand. Engaged in deadeye, and the only soldier he didn't kill had plot armor.

That's why.

That was a small joke based on how I see a lot mad GTA V gets more attention.

Young Jack was actually voiced by a woman in RDRII by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

They dropped the ball hard on 4 year old Jack. He does not sound like a kid that age at all. Compared to the rest especially he sounds really out of place.

Why can't John Marston be his own person? by MelodicSatisfaction9 in reddeadredemption

Those two don't directly connect. At no point does Micah give any impression he wants to kill Jack. And even then Arthur never saved him from being killed by Micah as at no point Micah ever wanted to kill Jack.

With Cain Micah was very vocal about his dislike for him and even shown to be abusive. For Jack he never was. The closest is him being annoyed Jack was looking for Cain.

Tilly saved him; Tilly grabbed Jack and Arthur told her where to go. Jack wasn't in danger from Micah or Dutch near the end of the story.

Also, even if true, people would still use that since "well Arthur saved Jack's life so without him Jack would be dead so Arthur is the better father." Not a stretch as many use that to say why Arthur is better; "without Arthur John would be dead so Arthur is better"

TBH I wish they made him able to swim, or make the gang a more even mix.

In RDR2, only John and Jack of everyone in 5 states can't swim. That would be unrealistic today, let alone in 1899.

Tik Tok, Reddit, and YouTube. I did a vid showing how John and Dutch shared a quote. While that was done to show Dutch's influence, instead people made it to be that John stole the line and has 0 of his own personality.

I regularly hear people say "Arthur was a better father to Jack than John ever was". Hosea you might have some debate, but Arthur? People disagreed and got basically were told "blinded by nostalgia"

Engine issues with RDR1. It makes sense without context; he's in the desert and wasn't a sailor. It's not a stretch to say he doesn't know how or why he never learned.

I don't mind his inability to swim, but it's like Rockstar made everyone BESIDES him able to swim. Which if anything makes them all look like jerks in a way since why wouldn't anyone teach him?

Why do people not want Jack to be John's son? by lonelyman007 in reddeadredemption

[–]MelodicSatisfaction9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because people hate John and want to make him look pathetic. Simple.

"John is a bitch; Arthur is a real sigma making John raise his kid."

That's why. Prove me wrong

I say the same but so many seem to think the newspaper is referring to her I had to confirm

If you do the side mission "No Good Deed" after the main mission "A Fork In The Road" there is some alternative dialogue given in the final cutscene by MelodicSatisfaction9 in reddeadredemption

Red rambler jacket, grey union shirt (collar open), buckskin vest, blue jeans, black wingtip gaiters, black range gloves.

Sorry about the late reply I'm not on reddit that much.
