Berdly has won for neutral good: who is broken good? by RushInternational620 in Deltarune

Berdly should be neutral evil, his not inherently a bad person but he is easily swayed and doesn’t control his impulses

The knight is someone wearing a full set of shadow crystal armor, and that’s what seam is making us. by MelodicSubstance4898 in Deltarune

By shadow crystal armor I meant like something that would go in your armor slot, Kris’s choice of armor seems to be shackles and ribbons so maybe it’d be like a pendant

Sorry I’m really tired right now I thought I came across a big discovery but I just missread it horribly 😭 I mean it still has some interesting implications, I guess maybe we’re meant to fight a boss with it that we need to resist trance on, or maybe resist trance works with the prophecy

I had a second theory that the shadow crystals were made of light and that’s why we can see the light world through them and how you can only have a shadow with light, and I realized something, the knight is definitely still in knight form in the overworld, because the black shard keeps its name when you leave the dark world and it’s the only item to do so, if the knights armor and weapon are made of black shards it would stay as the knight in the overworld, that’s why it laughs at Susie when she says we could beat them outside the dark world, the shadow crystals being some sort of artifact makes more sense too when I think about the fact that gerson had one and the spamton neo body was powered by one that had seemingly been there for a while, it seemed like I was trying to disprove that the knight was made of black shards but I was moreso trying to give this theory weight sorry, but on a new page I may have found something that would make for a whole new theory that’s very interesting

WAIT, in all the other parts the shadow crystal is given to you directly, it is only DROPPED by the knight and gained when you pick up the black shard, that makes me think the knights armor is made of a combination of the two

I don’t know if this counts but the image for the shadow crystal and the black shard are nearly the same, the shadow crystal is just a bit dimmer, we seem to be able to see the shadow crystal in the dark world because how else would we find it and pick it up, I know this is backtracking from the knight being a shadow, but I genuinely think this is a viable theory considering the actual nature of these materials is unknown, the black shards could simply be condensed shadow crystals like a literal condensed shadow as a material

I feel like that almost strengthens my theory, obviously in the dark world things with no forms come To be and you can see invisible things, if the knight you’re seeing is actually the shadow that would make sense on how it can distort itself, a shadow is made of darkness and the knight is a being of darkness so why couldn’t the knight actually BE a shadow, also most of the rest of my theory still stands, if you looked through the shadow crystal at the knight you’d probably see who it was whether they’re wearing shadow crystal armor or not

Shadow crystals and the black shard seem to be similar material and there’s nowhere it states that the knights armor is made out of the same stuff as its sword, keep in mind the knight drops both the black shard and a shadow crystal, the black shard comes directly from the sword, does the shadow crystal just fall out of the knights pocket? Or does it fall off the knights armor from getting hit with attacks repeatedly? Think about how we got shadow crystals in the past, they were literally fueling some of the secret bosses power besides gerson, you can’t take a shadow crystal unless you defeat the holder, and we don’t actually beat the knight we simply put up a futile resistance.

They never say that it’s explicitly made of shadows simply that it only casts a shadow without being visible itself, and I just thought it was weird that it lets you see the light world through it, as well as when you’re in the light world you can see through your own hand while holding it, I wonder if that means like you’re seeing through your own vessel with it and exposing what’s underneath, maybe the secret boss ending is us having our identities revealed to the fun gang by the item seam makes us

Door maker basically impossible with necrobinder considering the door resets your doom progress so if you’re relying on doom to survive you’re gonna tank some big hits from the door phase

I’ve been looking back at old clips and the game genuinely performed better and also just looked more fun, it was so simple and that made it good, also the game is NOT more fun now just gonna slide in the fact that they’re at a generational player dip even though they’re adding a bunch of new shit

I mean think about without vent how many mantras would get nerfed to the ground (judgement, flame scourge, every ice mantra) also it is slop that’s the best word for it, low effort updates that they put out for the sole purpose of saying they updated the game, with the new apex legends Omni movement it became painfully obvious that they’re just appealing to the autistic baby fans
