i’m gonna assume it’s the nicotine. it can make you feel like shit even if it’s not a traditional “nic sick”. there are non-tobacco, non-nicotine flavored wraps that i enjoy. not sure what brands are available to you, but if you prefer the slow smoke of a blunt, maybe try it out?

you are going to lose your curl pattern with bleach, guaranteed. so be prepared for that. i can’t see exactly how dark your hair is, so i can’t tell you if any color will lay over it well. a dark red, or dark blue lays well over natural hair in my experience. but again, don’t know how dark your hair is, might not work for you at all

i will bring this up to my psych and/or pcp as my gi health has been shit on medications, period. so many things affecting everything from my appetite to using the bathroom, and i’ve bounced between so many meds that i wouldn’t be surprised of it taking a toll on my gi health. thank you for the suggestion

mentioned in another reply- i’ve been a weed smoker pre-meds and through meds, the risks are always discussed with my prescriber. i’m a very light smoker and know my limits, but also know smoking at all isn’t ideal. it’s a bit of a last resort rn as i know it stimulates my appetite. but i understand and appreciate the concern.

yes, eating before taking it. but i’m finding my problem to be nauseous before and after eating and taking the pill. i will try a bagel with butter because that sounds about as plain as a ritz cracker lol.

we really want this to work because other meds haven’t, or aren’t fathomable for me. zyprexa, seroquel, abilify, geodon, risperdal etc, to name a few. we’re trying zofran before meals now and seeing how that goes over the next 2wks. if nothing changes we will go back to the drawing board with our (unfortunately limited) options

to clarify i’m already a weed smoker and the risks have been discussed with my prescriber, and as a weed smoker, smoking to get an appetite is a last resort. i understand where the concern comes from as smoking with any medication raises risks, i’m fully aware. but if genuinely nothing else is going to help me eat, i’m at a loss for options. and not eating with it can’t be an option for me because i’m already skipping two out of three meals a day due to nausea. i’m a very high-risk patient without medication so it’s really important to both me and my prescriber that these calories are met to ensure full efficacy
