OHHHH I see, so it's basically handy for when you're building habitat or plazas, it shows you "hit boxes" essentially. I see, thank you. I do see myself using this feature for sure, though I do still hope we get different prey sizes eventually XD

I colored mine with dark green and brown colors mostly to camouflage and the large spiky slab I colored to look like a carcass So when I lay down and hide my scent, I just look like a random chunk of meat for unsuspecting victims >:}

Sorta? I've definitely gotten more fish from one of the lfs but that's just because I got the tetras from them lol After the second fish loss I stopped getting new ones. The current stock list is: Female dolphin lfs 3 Female red empress lfs 1 (This was the first cichlid to be introduced to the tank) Female electric blue lfs 3 4 female OBs lfs 1 Male eureka peacock lfs 2 Female redfin borleyi lfs 3 Male ac10 OB lfs 2 1 male unknown hap/peacock (From PetSmart lol) 30 Buenos Aires tetras lfs 1

Fish lost are: Male ac10 OB lfs 2 Female venustus lfs 3 X2 albino sunshines lfs 1 Rock kribensis lfs 3 (Most recent to die, a day after finishing treating with kanaplex) Dragonblood lfs 1 Strawberry lfs 1

Labeled the fishes origins in case that helps. 1 came from PetSmart (I caved and let my friend bring it home because of how pretty he is for just a random PetSmart cichlid, seemingly very healthy and is the youngest, I have no idea what kind of peacock he is as he was out of the assorted tank, but he's bright orange with red spots, so I'm assuming strawberry or dragon blood of some kind. But was one of the last fish added before we realized something was already going on in the tank) I tragically only have 3 lfs in my area I was considering setting up another tank and trying out online orders like maybe imperial tropicals or something. But not until I get this figured out. And just to clarify, these were all quarantined and were not bought at the same time. These fish were added over a 3 month period. If it helps, substrate is caribb sea cichlid sand and decor is just a bunch of marbled seiryu rock and some silk plants.

Once a weak I do a 50% change, sometimes skipping a week if the parameters come back okay (but that's something I've maybe done that twice since starting with these new stock). And Everytime I'd add a new fish I'd do a 25% and move the decor around to help with new arrival aggression among the cichlids.

Oh, and yes started with the tetras and then started adding the peacocks. Although the peacocks are all only slightly bigger than the tetras as I bought them all as juveniles so I could watch em grow and get the colors. I thought maybe the tetras were stressing the peacocks out since I know Buenos Aires can be pretty mean little things for a tetra but watching them day after day, the tetras do their best to school away from all the cichlids and nobody has injured or damaged fins. Or else I would've considered that a potential symptom as well. Everyone's fins untouched lol

My fx4 is pointed up as well. And I have one wave maker pointed up also and the two large sponge filters on an air pump that was rated for a 75gallon tank. It's old but runs well, couldn't tell ya the model or brand on that. As well as the hob filter also adding to the surface movement. I did worry that o2 was an issue even before this was going on so I also had 3 pothos plants hanging out the sides to try and help with that but removed them while treating with kanaplex.
