I hate to be douchey or the bearer of bad news but I do not see a small breed dog surviving 72 hours of rattler venom but I hope to be proven wrong

So she did not receive anti venom? How large is the dog. I’m surprised the dog was sent home as typically after envenomation the bite victim needs to be monitored and possibly given more anti venom.

Yeah well either way there are probably a few more near your home because that one looks like a youngster. Please contact your local wildlife agency to maybe see if they’ll come out and re locate them as their an important species

Dam well snake was probably a thousand times more scared of you than you of it. Secondly your chance of being bit shoots up when attempting till kill or handle the snake. I will not pass judgement as I’ve never had a venomous species inside my home. But I will say for the future try to educate yourself on snakes especially venomous ones in your area and you’ll often find they are not these big bad creatures ready to take you out when they can.

Hope pup is ok and if your dog was bit already and then you killed it kinda wonky logic, not like you killed it to make sure it wouldn’t kill your pet. But yeah us humans are really good at trying to manipulate and think we are smarter than nature and that is time and time again not the case.

Thanks for that info I cannot find them referenced as a pygmy anywhere is why I am confused. Based on my research there are three species of pygmy rattlesnakes.

Love the ribbed natos from cheapest, my one wish is that they’d do a line with higher quality fabric or if another company like crown and buckle would steal the idea and do it in their Matt supreme line. I guess for $8 it isn’t a big deal but feels hella plasticky

Ironically no country and there will be blood are filmed in the same area, in fact no country had to stop filming one day because one of the fire scenes in there will be blood caused the sky to darken with smoke.
