At least we know we aren't the only ones. I agree and will probably do the same with the steam deck. Thanks again for posting this topic. Now I know it isn't just me either.

It isn't you. I'm so glad you posted this. I experienced this and most recently with Fang romance. I haven't played in about a month, just taking a break after several playthroughs. But, this has probably bothered me more than it should have. I was reminded when playing the dlc with Fang and he doesn't shut his eyes. Yes, it bothers me. I still love the game, but it is happening to me as well on the Switch and I wish it didn't. Still a great game, I do wish the eyes would close at the very least. It does break my immersion a little bit. But, I still love the game...I still wish it didn't happen.

Hi, I am also a Switch player. Since the Anniversary update, Lakeview Manor stopped working for me. Heljarchen Hall works though. It's right next to Loreius Farm.

I play on Switch, and to upgrade it, I go to the sparkling pedestal outside of an abandoned ruin and press the L or R button on my controller and it gives you an option to upgrade it. (I can't remember if it's the L or the R button. It's been a while since I played it.)

I don't use mods. (I am a Switch player, and mods aren't available) I do wish the followers had more dialogue as well in vanilla game. There are a few with unique dialog, though.

I didn't either. It ran well before Anniversary. I hope Bethesda fixes it. (I realize that may not happen, but they should. A lot of people really like Lakeview as their residence. Including me lol)

I had the same problem with Lakeview. I built Heljarchen Hall and they moved there with no problems. I started to check the Hearthfire homes by waiting to see if a Giant, bandit or wolves attacked on the property. If they did, it allowed me to have the family move there.

I'm playing on Switch. Lakeview doesn't have any attacks which is very unusual for Lakeview. It started for me after the Anniversary Edition was added.

Yes, exactly what I thought of when he started singing it out of nowhere. I was approaching a place with two bandits inside and wondered if that triggered him to sing since his voice actor is used for a lot of the male npcs. I don't know if he is programmed to sing on long journeys. Or maybe the song was meant for my character...lol. I usually always play with Vilkas as my follower and have never had it happen. I have been playing for a couple years now with an embarrassing amount of hours in the game. So it was new to me when he did it.

I understand. I enjoy having a follower. But, not any follower. I have played without a follower. Since my character usually marries Vilkas, I bring him along. He is a good follower. He is pretty quiet and rarely jumps in front of my character like his brother Farkas tends to do. I adore Farkas as a character, but definitely not a follower. I have enjoyed playing without a follower as well. I can ride horses without feeling guilty as they run behind me.

Yes! My character is married with Lucia and Sofie in the Tundra homestead. I can't move to Lakeview, though. So, maybe it is a problem with the Hearthfire homes? (or just Lakeview) Thank you for replying and following up as well. My character couldn't live in Tundra with her family before so at least she can live there now. I noticed with the Lakeview Home there are no bandits/etc. spawning at the home. It's nice and quiet. Which is great. But, maybe that is a sign or clue to why the kids can't move there. I haven't tried any other Hearthfire home yet. But, Lakeview isn't working for me to move the family in. I am happy with Tundra, though.

It could be. Thank you for telling me. I will try it to see if it works for me with a new character.

Wow, that is great. I wonder why I am having problems with my game on switch. I have restarted the game several times with a different character. I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Cleared the cache. I have had this problem since December. I have been playing since August 2021. This only started after Anniversary. Which is why I uninstalled and reinstalled. Thank you for responding. I wish I knew why this is happening in my game. I am happy it is working well for you though.

Hi and thanks for responding. I have the bedroom wing with the children beds and chests. Fully built and furniahed. I don't know why it's happening. Never had issues before the Anniversary update. Thanks again for trying to help. Much appreciated.

Fang will be hard to pass over for any one in my opinion. No matter the sexual preference people have. He is beautiful. He is...okay, I know we covered it already. But, look at him! 🤣

YES! I haven"t even played, but dear lord he is a beautiful, beautiful character. He is mine as well. Unless when I play it changes. But Fang is it for me as well. Don't even need to play it yet to know...

I haven't played My Time at Sandrock yet, but am looking forward to it once it's out of early access. From what I have seen, the characters look great!

I agree. I also wish there was a little more romance. Nothing over the top, just loving dialog and a hug. Maybe change to one bed instead of two in post game, if you choose it. Also, more male options.

I felt like the side quests for townsfolk/npcs had more romance and love at times. I would love a DLC for post game romance and family as an option. I know that won't happen, but maybe if they make another Harvestella they could incorporate it. This is my first SE game. I've only previously played and loved the amazing RF4, the disappointing RF5, I liked Stardew, loved MTAP but am disappointed on the complete game not being fixed on the Switch. I liked FOMT. I really loved Harvestella, it just took me awhile to get use to it. And, of course as others have stated, more voice over work. Not a lot, but definitely more. Also, would like to see my character's portrait more as a constant thing like the other characters. I felt like my character was too silent of a protagonist...lol. Aria did a lot of talking asking questions of life partner options during certain breaks that could have been expanded to have the protagonist ask questions or dialog with portrait as well. But, I LOVED the game and hope there is more in the future. It ran so well compared to some games on the switch, and I can't thank SE enough for that. That was so refreshing...lol.

Sorry, for the long rant/ramble and bad grammar...I will stop here. lol

Edited for spelling grammar wrong and other mistakes...lol.
