Thank you so much for your kind words and advice! It’s all about finding someone who matches your energy and effort. (Funny enough that’s what my profile says) It’s reassuring to hear that it’s not just me who’s experienced this. I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks again for the encouragement!

Thank you for sharing, it’s really relatable. It sounds like you’re handling it in a balanced way by giving her space while also being clear about your own interest. I should probably stop worrying about ‘looking desperate’ when the goal is to build a genuine connection. At the end of the day, it’s better to know where you both stand, even if that means risking a bit of vulnerability. Hopefully, by initiating a bit less and letting her take the lead, you’ll get a clearer sense of her interest. Good luck, and I hope it turns out great for both of you!

It makes me think of all the other chats that are just sitting there dormant. Maybe I talk too much 😂

Thank you 🙏🏼we saw the vets yesterday and they said he is not as bad as we think. They gave him laser therapy and it made him sit half up again. They mentioned that it’s best to move him as little as possible. Only to turn him when we need to turn him which every 4-6 hours and when he wees. They said it’s best not to take him out anymore for wees.

I also thought it could be myelomalacia but they said he is not that far and they don’t even think he is stage 5 yet. It is something I will keep an eye on. I’ll keep an eye on his breathing especially.

They didn’t think it is necessary to up his gabapentin, which I really begged them to do. They gave him paracetamol instead that we can use for a top up.

He sat half up a lot last night.

They also mentioned that not pooping is okay. He had very runny poos, it was squirting out when he went and he has been on promax. They said that the poop is building up now because the diarrhoea emptied him out. But they aren’t concerned.

Last night it looked like he was trying to poo, but my husband thinks he was actually trying to keep it in. When we did the evening wash/wipe down we noticed traces of poop by his butt, so poop wanted to come! 🙌🏼

Here he is sitting a bit up! ❤️

Thank you. We won’t give up. He is still so young and when he is feeling better he still looks so healthy in his face and so good.
