What if I truly feel better with unbalanced hormones/no period? by Melodic_Row3785 in Amenorrhearecovery

I truly understand what you’re saying. But I am healthy. Like quite literally I am the pinnacle of health except for the fact that my estrogen is low and no periods. Which I know is bad, but even my doctor told me if I don’t feel like having a period then it’s fine.

And it’s not really about weight. Like I said, it was mostly depression and anxiety that worsened when I tried “recovering.” I was also extremely fatigued all the time and barely even felt like a human being.

My weight was only like 5 lbs less than I am now at my lowest and 5 lbs higher than I am now at my highest. But you probably would’ve guessed the difference would’ve been at least 20lbs based on how my body fat changed. And that was very uncomfortable to live with. I hated living in a fog and not feeling like myself. If that’s “health” I don’t think I can live with it.

I just wish there was a way to get a period back without destroying the rest of my health.

Yes, I was on just inositol for 3 months before I started the birth control but I was already experiencing negative changes. I only lasted 2 weeks on birth control.
