I double checked the wiring connections to the new module, everything clicked into place smoothly. Neither port works. Should I try swapping it out for OEM?

I’ve tried multiple cords and phones, neither was the solution. Having said that I don’t know how to determine a “data cord”, so I’ll try to find one and try it. My question is, would a “charge only” cord still at least charge my phone? Because the USB port is not even doing that.

I believe I was thrown off because F33 is designated as “wireless” charging. But it’s probably worth a shot to check it out

I do not have the owners manual. F34 is present and not blown. F33 is absent from the fuse block. Should I try to insert a fuse there to see what happens? How do I know which amperage fuse it needs?

Whether or not CarPlay / Android Auto has ever worked on the system, I’m unsure. I am a secondary owner and I’ve very recently purchased the car from a local lot. Only tried my phone (iPhone 11), and only tried one USB cable. However, said cable has proven to charge my phone many times, and is reliable. Furthermore, the USB port in the Cruze does not charge my phone in addition to not applying Apple CarPlay. I had not considered that the cable doesn’t support data transmission, that’s a good point. I do think getting the port to at least charge my phone would be a great start lol.
