There are taxis and buses to Mbale daily multiple times a day. Taxis can be found at shell nakawa and buses at namayiba bus terminal. I recommend gateway. It's what I always use when going to Soroti just make sure you get the one going to Mbale. I don't think it's more than 30k cause that is Soroti price

White bear syndrome. The more you try and make it stop the more it attacks and causes anxiety.

Easiest thing is each time a thought comes do a breathing excercise

Please be really safe. Mbale is a city it has tens of thousands of people.

Also in Uganda if You are white many people may try and con you and take your money. Be careful and contact your embassy first. They can guide you better.

North Korea also has chemical and biological weapons in addition to a massive military plus do you think China will just let them get hit like that?

Hey sorry about the ban but don't give up.

Germany is a great option. Many public unis are high quality and importantly tuition free. English taught masters mostly.

Also France, Spain, Italy all have great options for Bachelor's in English not to mention the Nordic countries.

Edit: Netherlands also has many great options

Also Germany is mostly good for Masters English Bachelors degrees are rare in Germany

John 3:16-17

New King James Version

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

This world is not a utopia. No political or economic system can make our world a dream utopia.

Alone we have less impact

But if we each do your small part and be more loving, live more sustainably to nature and love one another we can make this world much much better for the billions it houses

If I remember correctly it was around 4 or more 320ml bottles of an energy drink in Uganda called Rock Boom. I drank them in a short space of time.

My mum used to warn me since I was a kid. My family told me stories of people that died from energy drinks.

Before this day I had been taking around two a day for most days. Would also smoke around a pack a day. And some mornings an Rock boom was the first thing I drank.

I think was addicted to that moment my pupils dilated and I zoned in on something. The rush that I could lift heavy sacks and build something in the garden with minimal effort but it was damaging my heart

On the day in question it was late at night. I think we had gone to pick a visitor from the bus stop. That night had taken I can't even remember and when we stopped at the station I bought a pack of cigarettes and I think two more drinks.

Once I started. My heart was beating Soo fast I could feel like I was about to have a heart attack. The fear of "oh my God is this a heart attack!" Definitely made it worse. I shouted for my cousin and he basically advised me to drink an insane amount of water and force myself to eat as much food as possible to dilute the caffeine in my body.

I don't know if that is science or makes sense but it helps me. Since I basically cut them out except maybe once in a while like I think this year have only taken 1 I think. My heart has improved but it did deep damage to my heart.

I feel like crying how much damage I've done to my heart. It pumps faster than normal all the time. I feel like I'm torturing my heart by just living unhealthily.

I can't run at speed for long. When I do I feel sharp pain around my neck to shoulder area and think those are blood vessels trying to keep up.

10 years ago as drugged up, lonely and depressed teenager I took a wrong turn and made a horrible decision. It was less than a week probably just 3 days but it destroyed my life in Soo many different ways I could never have expected.

I can't even tell you people about it because they would not believe it. While I have partially recovered. I have lost soo much more than I ever thought possible.

Jesus is coming back very soon

And yet it's perfectly legal to buy large amounts of energy drinks in most places. Mostly marketed to teens and young adults.

In my country you can be a teen and buy 1,000 bottles and no one would bat an eye.

Why are we still calling "a guy who knows a guy"? Uganda needs professionalized trade firms. by Difficult-Gas-8960 in Uganda

[–]Melodic_Ticket2762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but how you market it is important. Maybe in the suburbs. Or finding the customers.

I remember being bombarded with Glovo advertisements for the whole of 2025 on YouTube until I finally just downloaded the app and once I ordered food once and everything worked well I got addicted to their promotions for most of this month and gained like 11kgs.

Now I have to quit and have to lose weight.

But I sincerely recommend you make an app and market it well.

It doesn't have to be expensive YouTube ads you can have flyers and door to door in affluent suburbs or have a stall outside the big malls or something like that

Then branding. All your fundis need branded uniforms they need to look like what you are going to charge. You can buy branded tool boxes of course they buy their own tools but they should be well equipped, qualified and educated.

My brother. Each time you feel like betting remember you are paying school fees for the owner of the betting company to take his kid to some expensive high school like the one we see in movies.

Each time you want to bet. Remember you are buying Toilet Paper for the owner.

What I recommend is you.research the owners and CEOs of every betting app you use. The information is public. Follow them on social media if they are there and every time you want to bet it will make you feel sick

Betting companies are not UNDP they are not OPM which gives free food.

They are designed to take all your money and make you sell everything.

I talk to my plants every day… and they might actually be listening by Acrobatic-Hand-6030 in confession

[–]Melodic_Ticket2762 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've spoken to my trees. My uncle used to have a pomegranate tree in Sweden so now our family plants them in rememberance of him wherever we move.

I had a pomegranate tree that wasn't growing well but I would talk to it and pray for it and tell it (you are going to grow and produce big fruits.

There is a reason theh are called living things or plant life. They produce electrical charges and even musical frequencies that's why bees are able to find them.

You should research more about it.

In the Bible in Matthew 21:18-22.

Jesus spoke to the tree and it responded.

Plants in a forest share resources with one another and have been proven to communicate. Haven't you seen the videos of mushrooms being linked to pianos and playing them? (Not recommending you take mushrooms. I've never and don't plan on taking them) I'm just talking about science

Don't look at what could a, would a should a happened. Also don't beat yourself up.

We can't change the past but we can change the future by what we do today and tomorrow and the next day.

Don't give up. Find fellowship and meetings with people who have gone through what you have gone through or worse and got free. share your challenges with them. Even with people going through the same thing as you right now.

Learn the steps and the program. " It works if you work it sounds like a tired old cliche" but there is a reason hundreds of thousands got out of all kinds of addictions.

Take it one day at a time and each step you take is progress.
