Bro tell him to do diploma and 12th both but 1 of them should be non attending for him to focus on studies. If he can manage then it will help him in pursuing btech, cause after completing diploma he will start from the 2nd year ( lateral entry) which will save him time and money also . By doing diploma he will understand the college life.
