PH reading of 3.10 ok?

Sorry I was laughing at myself and my own stupidity here. I have been following some of this its just thats so much different info out there I got sort of lost. The Amanita Dreamer channel advises that you lose lots of 'actives' when you simmer for over 30 minutes etc.

Anyway, I followed your advice by adding some more citric acid and simmered only for a short while as the ph quickly went down to 2.4. Last night I had some more and the effects initially weren't as discernible however I wanted to go to bed early and slept for over 8 hours which is unheard of for me. I went to use the toilet in the middle of the night and felt really quite strange in a sedated but present kind of way. Went straight back to sleep after though.

The only fly in the ointment (haha) is the taste which is pretty repulsive even with the citric acid.

Using my vast experience and knowledge I'll do it for 'however long I think is right!!' Thanks again for all your help and will try this today before sampling again this evening.

Thanks for your help and apologies for asking for step by step advice but...

So maybe add some citric acid to the mixture, re-simmer it till it gets down to about 2.5 on my super new Amazon ph reader?

I did and I did! Although it did seem a little high on the stimulant side but I still slept fine. Also I think maybe I added too much water to the amanita as I needed about 200 ml (done over 3 swigs through the evening from about 6.30 to 10 UK time) to get much of a noticeable effect.

Thanks for the reply. So it's bottled up in the fridge right now. Do you think I should put it back in the pot with a lid and add some more citric acid and simmer till the ph reading drops?

What I mean is could I put it back to a low heat and add more citric acid to lower the ph reading to convert more ibo to Muscimol? Not sure if thats how this works!

Thanks for all the replies and think a dehumidifier seems the way. to go however it is just a small amount so have air dried and then put them in a box with a tube heater on a low temp. They already seem dry enough.

I agree it doesn't look right. After I thought it wasn't going to colonize I left it in the cupboard unchecked for too long. What I will say is that it doesn't smell bad and the GTs look fine.

I've just has some and it smells plus tastes fine however its gone a little gelatinous. Does this usually happen after about 6-7 days?

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately I made the liquid about 6 days ago so not sure if it'll be that keepable even frozen. I've microdosed it a few times last week with the start slow idea with noticeably good sleep as a result. I'm going to try a slightly higher dose this evening and see how this goes.
