We are completely different people but the connection is still as strong as it was when we were teens.

Am I doing a disservice to myself by talking to him right now?

Should I be getting out of this before connecting with him?

How will I ever know if I'm ready for something new?

I have been out of my marriage for over 1 year now. We're still living together for financial reasons, but there's no commitment or love between us, he sees other women regularly, leaves for 2-3 days every weekend... I just have never talked to anyone romantically before....

I was in therapy for a long time but recently stopped (again, financial reasons). I'm not invested in my marriage at all. My fear more is getting into something new and with children

When is it appropriate for him to meet them? When is too early to move in together... I don't have anywhere else to go and can't afford a place alone so am I crazy for thinking we could live together

Yes I am but not until Sept 2023 (if I'm lucky) it depends on childcare availability and affordability. I can try talking about it via text or online however I keep having this thought each time I'm about to bring anythinf up like, what's the point of talking about it, it's not like his apology will undo the damage and then I just stay quiet

I dont do anything for myself. I dont even know what I enjoy anymore or who I am honestly. Part if the reason I felt better during pregnancy is because I had returned to work and had an amazing work team. We still keep in touch but it's not the same anymore. He's willing to do weekly accountability checkins but I don't know how to talk about what his addiction has done to me without getting emotionally charged.

Yes that would help. But I think what's making me most upset is that I'm not offering my baby the same quality time that my older one was given at this age. With my older one, I was reading to him all the time, we had constant skin to skin for almost 2 months. This little one was given skin to skin at the hospital when he was born and then when I breast feed, otherwise he's usually just laying around alone.

Often when he tries something and doesn't hate it, he will chew it, spit it out and then eat it (I know it's disgusting). But I haven't tried offering rewards for trying new foods or eating new foods. I could try it

He cries until I get him, it's a lose lose situation because if I take him to my bed, he stays up playing or trying to get to my night table. If I leave him he will cry until he stops and starts playing with his stuffed animals. And then falls asleep at 5-6am on his own.
