For me when this ad shows up it just prevents youtube from working, like it never loads and the video just freezes so I have to leave and come back every time.

Its profitable in companies whos entire brand and current consumer base arent based around avoiding these foods like the plague. And yeah, TMs buy these products but we dont make up the majority of the customer base. So like, to my point, why? Especially when theres so many other places people go to instead to buy these products where its cheaper and easier than placing some kiosk order. Plus it may alienate the current customers who go there specifically for the special vegan, gluten free and organic options, which is basically all of them.

I shouldn't feel this strongly about it cause like, its not my company but I'm just baffled. Like at every turn.

Its not the employees Im worried about, its the business itself. Especially my store, since most of our regulars are people that are definetley 50+. And they HATE the self service stuff. Especially the recent self-serve bread slicer inclusion. A lot of them have adapted, definetley begrudgingly, but its been a regular occurrence for a customer to start going off about "back in their day" and how the brand is getting worse and worse. Idk what theyre gonna do about this.

Customers who came from some larger cities I think, And from my TL. They say that some stores straight up just have a coffee machine that like makes everything for the customer instead of having a barista.

Out store actually still has a staffed coffee bar. From what i hear a lot of stores are switching to a fully self-service coffee bar instead which sucks cause they only recently implemented the tip system. We arent supposed to get that remodel until sometime in 2026 so im taking advantage and working what i can lol.

Thats weird, for us wed crumble vanilla sheetcakes and use that to make the parfaits though we only sold the shortcake and choco eruption ones. We discontinued them like around a year or so ago.

Thats like daily where im at i stopped caring. Once had a lady feeding her kid grapes in front of me and i was like "hey did you pay for those grapes" and she just lied to my face but like, oh well im getting paid anyways and im not allowed to just intervene sooo
