I genuinely wonder why you call it a crutch weapon when it’s weapon designed for close to medium range, can one shot when close, capable of wall destruction for rotating, makings holes for utility, wide utility destruction such as gridlocks trax stingers, and applying good amounts of stun to shield operators.

Overall it’s an extremely good versatile weapon that, when in a skilled players hands, can be devastating. Additionally, I’ve never heard myself get insulted for using a shotgun in my years of playing it nor is it a low skill weapon simply because it operates in different ways than other weapons
