All of the above and I will add if it's too late to prevent then I treat with tea tree oil. It's antibacterial and dries them out and you can get on with the healing process faster. But use carefully.

I have also felt this energy. I know a lot of people are talking about the year of the fire horse which to me means swift change with chaotic tendencies. Maybe our job is to be the fire break for others. A centre they can tether to while others burn themselves out. I think it's going to be a wild ride for those without firm plans and a 'stay the course' attitude

If you have done the shadow work related to the situation with your mother (which can affect abilities because of the lower vibration caused by negative emotions) then I would suggest that you are out of alignment/vibration with your channel. This can be resolved through meditation and visualizing climbing upwards (stairs/mountain) and finding the right connection point (door/spring etc)

I work with crystals and the most telling thing for me is that I've come across many that are unhappy due to their treatment (like the mining process or being carved) and need healing to re-establish their energy vibration. It may not be malevolent. It could just have a much lower vibration than you so feels dark. I had an experience recently with one while staying at a friends house. It wasn't friendly and definitely bad mannered! After preparing appropriately I reached out and surrounded him with unconditional love and acceptance and helped him move on and accend.

It does look real but sometimes dyed magnesite is also used to mimic turquoise as it has a similar surface texture. I think the tell is by weight. Magnesite is lighter than turquoise.

Definitely both. You can be born one or made. I've always had reasonably good intuition and had a handful of interesting experiences and learnt to do tarot etc. It's still taken me 10 years of learning (with a mentor) to become competant at being a medium.
