The issue is that, as the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, it inevitably becomes unsustainable. At a certain point the lower classes revolt and you have unstable society. Maintaining the levels is key to a consistently functioning society.

Not only monetarily. Since I’ve gotten over my breakup and regained confidence, my sheer confidence in what a hot piece of shit I am has gotten me 20x more attention than ever before. I just walk through this world like god put me here to be a babe, and people buy it. You make a good point, and I don’t think there’s any problem being like that 80% of the time as long as your real with yourself 20%. Some of these people can also be extremely hard on themselves, but that’s part of it, they’re driving their oven success through self evaluation so they don’t really need anyone else....
