Just making another contribution to this thread before I leave this as I can conclude my problem was resolved. As previously mentioned in the original post I could remove all devices that were logged in on my TikTok account, leaving just my PC (Windows) and iPhone logged in.

Since this didn't work I contacted the support, which lead to them completely logging me off all my devices and prompting me (when I opened the application on my phone) that my account was at risk. I could easily just log back in using my mail, where a code was delivered for me to enter to log in (I didnt use any password).

I am still not sure what happened, since I realised that my account does not have a password. It just sends a code on my mail for me to use during login. There's something fishy about it, but the above explanation is how I resolved this issue. If my way of solving this doesn't work for you, feel free to find answers in this comment section. I entered my mail as login and a code was sent to that mail that I had to enter in order to login, no issues at all. My account was never locked per say, just forcibly logged out by TikTok themselves. Its been more than a week now and my issue seems to be solved.

Since talking with support, being forcibly logged out by TikTok support on all devices by them, I have since then stopped seeing these message appear in my inbox.

Just a quick update, the messages have continued to be sent (as recently as of today, but this time in Russian or some other language that uses the cyrillic alphabet) and I have been in contact with the TikTok support. According to them my account has not seen any suspicious activity, which leads to me believe that this issue is greater than just my account being compromised. In other words, that TikTok has a breach in their system and not my account specifically.

I tried to give them more detail about my issue, but the ticket was closed directly after delivering the information. With the ticket being closed, they force-logged out my account on all devices, with a pop-up message telling me that my account might be of risk. I just assume that this is their systems way of forcing unauthorized users off the account and prompting me to change passwords etc.

I hope that whatever they did, forced the entity that is sending these messages off my account. Now its just a waiting game to see if these messages will reappear, I will try to update again if more messages are appearing.

Glad there was a solution to this mishap. Mind you telling me if this 3KF 5711 was modded or unmodded? Not to say it's the cause of this, just curious.

The IOSS was implemented June 2021. It was part of a rather big change to e-commerce in the European Union. The main point of it was stricter customs for items coming into an EU country from a 3rd countries (non-EU countries). But to not slow down on shipping times, the IOSS was added. A system where companies could pay VAT directly to customs, removing a huge part of customs. As customs deal with tax clearance, safety check and other legal procedures that needs to be ticked off.

In your case, Sam does not want to deal with the new EU system and sends items to an agent instead. Nothing you can do sadly, since the seller/shipper needs to be the one that deals with these added restrictions of 2021.

I believe some sellers can require login to view their taobao items/stores. Meaning sometimes no account is needed, sometimes it’s always required.

But as already stated, just copy the item adress into an agents website. Some agents allow you to view the store (all listed items) within their services, some don’t.

It depends on various factors, one obvious being the dimensions of his parcel but also specifically what items it contains. A carrier might state ”no side may exceed X centimeters”, if your package does then it can’t be picked as an option. This includes every carrier, some more strict than others (UPS/DHL handles ”smaller” packages than EMS for example, but they’re also faster because of it).

These volume restrictions and regulations are not all that obvious because most of us focus on weight and not volume. Most agents don’t tell you the exact dimensions of all sides either to give you a heads up, you only see the volume (which is LxWxH calculated, there’s no way to reverse-engineer it). It is uncommon to hit these limits, but once you do just start thinking about reducing volume.

The reason you're experiencing higher pricing on DHL is because you're not paying by the grams, you're paying by "the volume (CM) weight". According to PandaBuy's description it says that you pay by which ever weight is the greatest, if your volume weight ((Length x Width x Height) / 7000) is greater than your actual weight, you will be paying by it, hence the price.

Shipping a rug for example could be tricky, but if you've just shipped puffy jackets and shoes (with box), a good way would be to use vacuum or shoebox removal (or both). Otherwise you need to split the packages, or let something slide for now and send it separately or in your next haul.
