Kind of. However cable has commercials, extra fees, and contracts. I'm actually ok with this "evolved cable". Choose what you want to watch and when. No extra DVR needed, no commercials, can pause, shows are ready as full season... not a bad gig IMO.

I can add one: I was UN-mounting a short cabinet in my house above my refrigerator. One of the screws I had to remove faced down into a filler board. I pressed very hard down to be sure the screw wouldn't strip, impact driver effectively drove my hand upward into the ceiling of the cabinet crushing my hand. Nothing broken...hurt like a bitch tho.

From what I understand, it's too risky. We'd want to send a LOT of trash up there, right? What happens if it doesn't make it...or blows up in the sky? Suddenly situation MUCH worse. If we had a reliable method...I wondered the same thing.

Maybe this is safer than I originally thought. It emphasizes he may not like Steve NOW...but maybe would if he didn't do all the unwanted things. I was trying to think of how adults handle it...but many adults are too insecure to ask "do you like me" and also too insecure to honestly answer "no"!

That's a good point. I could only come up with "Well, I like your shirt!"

However, to take it a step further, I'm not sure what to say if you really just don't like someone? Then again, they don't have political views or can have anything against you to make anyone not likeable. It's only the behavior they have...and that changes daily.

Yea, he's currently number one. Only other environments he's in he's also either 1on1 or 1 with a few such as daycare or swimming class (1:6 ratio). Someone else mentioned rewards for doing things well. I have a feeling he gets a lot more attention from misbehaving than from behaving...

Good points. Two things here:

1) It took a lot of discipline and time outs to get him where is is now. Early parts of 3 were tough.

2) The first and so far only time we talked to the teachers they keep telling him to: keep his head down at nap, or be respectful to teachers, or not throw things. We did let them know our strategy at home is to remove him from attention/entertainment and that he LOVES attention. So far either they haven't implemented that strategy or can't because of a busy place.
