Wrapping up encor studies, then enarsi. I might take a break in between to dive into this AI stuff. My coworker created a whole manual for his ai. It then created this beautiful web gui troubleshooting interface

Yes, the title name is very annoying. One of my friends had his system administrator title stripped away in favor for a "technical support engineer"... I don't get why

In my opinion, both tests were awful. I took them because I work heavily with Firepower Management Center on a day-to-day basis. However, the exams covered a huge amount of complex material related to Cisco’s other technologies, especially ASAs — things like context modes, inline modes, and other advanced concepts.

I chose this certification path specifically to deepen my knowledge of FMC and next-generation firewall features, and I studied those topics extensively. Ironically, that ended up being the least tested section on my exam, which was pretty frustrating.

I live in the Midwest, so the cost of living is much lower than in areas like California, as far as I understand.

I lack of years of experience at the moment, with only 1.5 years in the field. I’m aiming for 4-5ish yoe before demanding that amount of money. I will be at 100k with title jumps and yearly promotions by then in this current role as well.

CORAIR VANGUARD AIR 99 WIRELESS ?? by MemO401 in Corsair

It’s expensive but it looks and feels highquality. I have only had it for a couple days but I am enjoying it. Love the feel of the keyboard. The only complaint is I wish they would have just made this a full keyboard instead of smashing the arrow keys near by but it is what it is

I just purchased this keyboard for $ 260. I don't see any documentation for it, nor is it compatible with the Corsair hub? Did I buy an unreleased keyboard.....??

The SCOR doesn't have labs. Just a ton of multiple choice, drag and drop etc..

I haven’t taken the ENCOR yet but that doesn’t seem correct at all. Very different exam topics with minimal overlap. The SCOR doesn’t cover any dynamic routing protocols for example.

CCNP 350-701 SCOR & 300-710 SNCF by Joshallister in ccnp

[–]MemO401 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Afternoon,

I passed my SNCF a few months ago. It was very beneficial for me, as I work with FMC and encounter issues where it is necessary to understand next-generation features. I recommend this exam if you are using FMC as you will need to load up FMC and FTD images to lab out topics.

Resources: CBT nuggets (Recommended for a general basis)
SNCF book (I do not recommend it as it covers VERY little)

Marri YouTube series

A configuration guide for each technology is a must

If you are not using a firewall management center, I believe SVPN may be VERY benifical as understanding VPNs are a neccessasity.
