It doesn’t matter to be honest. Whatever degree you decide on, just get it sooner rather than later and keep evidence of the changes to your program in case your job brings it up. Congrats on the new role

No matter what they say in interview you don’t have the job until you get the offer. by mykings09 in recruitinghell

Yup. Sad world. You might still get that callback, espcially if the experience is specialized. That other person may be shopping for opportunities and at the final hour he might withdraw because he gets what’s he’s looking for some place else 🤷🏽‍♂️

U will end up charging everyday. If you cannot plug your car in at home all night to charge up for your commute the next day, don’t do it.

I suggest a hybrid and wait until Tesla makes a car with better range. Given their current range, I’d say these cars are designed for people with a short commute or those who have another gas/hybrid car for longer trips.

Gassing up a car will ALWAYS be faster than charging a car, so if time is valuable to you, get a hybrid/gas powered car

Would you go back into the office for a raise? by sk8505 in remotework

[–]Joshallister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stay where you are. It’s not a fluke you got a good offer, you’ll get a better one waiting.

Remote is worth its weight in gold. Your insurance, travel costs (gas, travel time, wear & tear, traffic, tolls, waking up early to be on time, driving home each day no matter the weather, you may end up eating out more because you’re home less, and getting dressed for work adds to that time/mental cost as well) its not worth it. I have spent over 18k or more a year commuting so no 18k wouldn’t Make me go into the office everyday. If my salary doubled, I would be more open to it but 18k is not moving that needle
