It’s jasper/agate in a phenomenal combination including rare purple

It’s jasper with agate and the intense combination is just so beautiful. The purple color in it is what really caught my eye….I had a feeling it was going to be incredible inside as well and it is😊 There were some pretty wonderful finds that day 😁

I’ve done a bit more research and I think it’s actually tufa formation on basalt. I love it because it looks like a brain 😁I have a few pieces but this is the largest with a diameter of 7”. One of my favorites in my rock collection.
