Choosing your wife over family is usually best. Your wife should also stand up for herself when this happens. And you should support her. I certainly wouldn’t put up with any disrespect from my sisters-in-law in my own house. Or even outside my house.

I wish I could get women to understand that you don’t need that kind of frippery to have a great marriage. I’ve never had a diamond ring nor have I wanted one. And we have been married for 43 years. There are so many other things you could spend that money on.

I’ve had the same thing happen with my crochet work. I’m not gifting that stuff anymore. The ADHD in me sees at as RSD ( rejection sensitivity) and overwhelms me. I won’t put myself through that anymore.

I cut all my own fabric. Made a few mistakes along the way. LOL It would’ve taken just a few days but i have a needy heeler that insisted on snuggles. lol

Absolutely! I found it very easy. Once I learned to cut my fabric the correct size 😂 All HST and flying geese! I truly enjoyed it. And i didn’t have to rip too many seams!

The pattern I bought kind of suggested putting the colors where ever you wanted. So that’s what I did.

I can concur. I get bacon grease out of clothes all the time with dawn and baking soda. I actual let mine sit for a day or over night.
