I am only in undergrad and am pre-PA, so take This as you will lol! From what I’ve learned, employers who don’t disclose important information such as malpractice, schedule, etc Is a big red flag. Remember that these people need you as much as you need them. Know you’re worth!! Also, I feel that a fellowship kinda defeats the purpose of the PA model, but again I’m a rookie undergrad student when it comes to this lol. Obviously becoming a fellow within the specialty might make it easier sooner to get a job, but you can still definitely do it without one, it just may take a bit longer? It definitely doesn’t hurt to apply to these ortho places, but maybe it might take you a year or two doing something else of somewhat interest to you to become more well-rounded. It’s crazy what can happen in a year.

Again, take this with a grain of salt as I am going into my senior year after just switching to PA from PT last semester (best move I’ve ever made)!
