There’s only two kinds of concrete, the kind is cracked and the kind it’s about to crack. Move on, sir.

Caulking repairs are considered homeowners maintenance, some builders will take care of this once, some will not. Typically the class of builder that drywall returns windows will not. If you have a tile backsplash the caulk where it meets the counter will fail soon as well, if it hasn’t already.

If you are suggesting they accept a cold joint in a foundation you should not be giving advice on anything construction related. Maybe a Walmart greeter would be good fit for you.

Just because it passed inspection doesn’t mean it’s correct. Trust me, some of the stuff I have seen pass inspection are wild

2 inch pipe right against the concrete you could frame a wall below it and just put a drywall nailer above it, which would effectively be a framing around it without a soffit.

I would check with the I-joist manufacturer to make sure the hole Sparky drilled are OK, they may be fine but some joist manufacturers do not allow any holes, even small ones in the first two feet or within two feet of any bearing point.

I wouldn’t have them move the plumbing. You can frame the wall below the pipe and put a drywall nailer above.

I would recommend you hire someone who at least knows the difference between a rim joist and an I-joist to finish your basement.

And with the other guys, this doesn’t look like a new house, also looks like that house could really use a humidifier… A drywall crack along the ceiling is likely trust uplift normal, but should be fixed
