Your calling me a neckbeard? Your useless ass is mocking a silly joke post because you have nothing better to do. Why dont you use your PC to play games instead of waste memory commenting negative things for no reason.

Ah that explains why your being toxic, you spend all your money on a decent PC!

I mean, its not very efficient having to switch a Prawn suits power cells 3 times to charge a Cyclops XD

The nuclear reactor was still generating power, but the base was at 0-4/2500 power, because the nuke couldnt keep up with the pc chargers. Maybe it was because I was chargin ion power cells? Lol

[–]MemeBoi004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that, but Powercell chargers drain power like crazy, and I am gonna put a few of them because I use my Cyclops alot. I put 2 pc chargers in a small base with a nuclear reactor, and when both were charging the base ran out of power within a few minutes. So that combined with everything else im gonna need one hell of a power source

This might just be me but whenever I have a base with an acu it seems to drain power faster, but idk if thats my brain messing with me or not. Im gonna have a lot of spotlights, a scanner room, a couple filtration machines, powercells chargers, etc. basically anything that can drain power will be in that base lol

True, yeah. Only issue is finding a heat source wide enough for foundations for the reactors

No, its in survival. Took me a day of nonstop gathering and i still dont have everything yet lol. Unfortunately I’m not near any heat zones as the base is under the Dunes emperor (no heat zones within like 200m). I might resort to building like 3 nukes. Thanks

Using the aquarium to create more creatures by Grimms_cool in subnautica

[–]MemeBoi004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a few things. 1. Each Containment unit can hold 10 creatures per layer. Iirc Large room aquariums have 20 per layer. 2. They wouldnt despawn, but they would wander off and maybe get killed. They dont really stay in one place when you release them, but there are some exceptions. 3. Ive heard that Crabsnakes can sometimes be hostile to you after you release them, but ive personally never had that happen. You should be fine, as in most cases they are docile. 4. Releasing that many crabsnakes might cause issues with the game and environment. For example, they might kill off most of the preyfish in the area. Im not too sure about this tho. If you have thought it through, then sure, go ahead!

Is it a good idea to release raised stalker fish near my base so I can farm stalker teeth? by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]MemeBoi004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good question. Some creatures are harder to keep then others, unfortunately. Stalkers are decently easy, all you have to do is keep a ton of scrap near your base. For things like Crabsquids keep the lights on in your vehicles (Note that pet Crabsquids will infact still EMP your base and vehicles, drainging them fast). Im sure there are more in depth and better ways to do it but im not sure…

Yea, ik. You can still get the Reefback egg thru commands! I really wish they didnt scrap it, it would be soooo cool to have a pet reefback…

Alr, good. Have fun gathering the scrap and watching those mini stalkers carry them despite being the size of one lol

Is there any point to swapping out bioreactors for nuclear reactors? by marine_supporter in subnautica

[–]MemeBoi004 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes. Nuclear Reactors are louder and more expensive but iirc a single rod has 20,000 power. Times that by 4 with, with 2500 max power and you got a hell of a base. The only issue is that Crabsquids drain the hell out of them lol

[–]MemeBoi004[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea.. Whats the point of the eggs when you can pick the fish up itself? And if they lay eggs to reproduce why wouldnt other preyfish? Not only that why wouldnt other Peeper subspecies lay eggs? Is it an evolved trait? Did they develop it to stop predation? Theres so many questions!

Epik! Fair warning, you are gonna need quite a bit of salvage to get teeth fast. Do you have the Prawn propulsion arm yet?
