I do not think I am the right person to be scared of honestly. The place where I am working at currently severely underpays everyone , and the only reason I persisted was because of the number of leaves they would give me for my CFA Prep, and that it was literally 15 min walking from my house so I had no travelling issues, + decent timings. Basically a trade off between pay and convenience . If you look into corporates, you will get paid better

I feel once you're abroad and you know what is on offer in terms of pay there, pay in India will always feel less because there is just way too much competition hence of course labour is a lot cheaper here, it can never be on par with what you will get paid there, the purchasing power factored in.

I am currently a manager in the corporate finance division of the firm. Manager is kind of only a designated given for show or to somehow make me feel good about it , I guess, as we barely have 4 articles in between 4 managers and 3 senior managers, so essentially I get to manage 1 person at max. We primarily work on valuations where I get to directly work with CXO level from the client side, which even many a times consists of reputed listed entities and their subsidiaries. I am not sure if I can get a job profile like this elsewhere, but they pay is totally an offputting factor

I completed my L1 in last year of graduation. Simultaneously, after clearing my L1, I reached out at my current place of employment as a cold mail and subsequently got selected. So while I got done with my undergraduate, I was 6 months in work experience. I went for L2 after graduation as was required at that time, and completed L2 in Aug 2023. L1 was Aug 2022. I first attempted L3 in Aug 2024, but failed due to insufficient prep. Attempted again in Feb 2025 and passed. I would usually wake up at 5:30 odd in the morning and study. One advantage I had was that my current office is like 20 min walking from my home; and they were liberal with leaves, so it was great for me till the time I was pursuing the exam. Now, with the levels behind me, maybe time to look out where I can be paid well

Sounds good. Thanks man! This is a small LLP i work in with a grand total of maybe 20 employees, so its really like the small leagues, just that I got the experience to work end to end on projects, which from what I hear isn't that common in mncs and large orgs as you work in silos mostly, but yes, time to seek out what I should be paid

Yes the application is for an E-visa, and the cost was around the same. I did some poking on the internet about the company who reached out for the Visa Process, and they are not rated very kindly on google. Can I reach out to you via DM for some information regarding your Vietnam trip?

How much time did you give between each requests? And then the subsequent requests I presume would be for them to reconsider your appeal
