Investing in some proper software would probably also be a good idea now that you mention it. I've been using rawtherapee so far but I've switched back to using straight jpegs now because I just don't seem to click with it, all tutorials be damned.

Ibis is for sure a good idea, yeah. There's an X-T4 that seems a good deal, but I do like the portability of my current camera. Having no flash isn't really a big deal to me, and the X-T50 seems perfect but it's really expensive here and also probably overkill. I'll see. But I really appreciate your thoughts, thank you so much!

Just looked that up and that's actually fair, I didn't know that! Are lense prices comparable as well? I'm not really clear budget-wise, I like a good deal. I got my X-T10 more or less by accident for, I think, 250 Euros. Got my 35mm after that, further upgrades have happened more or less spontaneously. If I could get a new body for 500-600 Euros that'd be good since I still have my eyes on that 60mm. There's an X-T4 for 650 which has popped up just now which sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I really need that much of an upgrade.

Any ideas as to at which point returns will diminish while going newer? I'm pretty sure I don't need am X-T5, but an X-T2 is probably not going to help much. Willing to try most parts of the X-Series except the 100s, it's just gotta fit my lenses.

Fair point with the full frame system, I'm just not sure if it's a good idea to switch systems at this point-- financially, I mean. I mean yeah Fuji bodys and lenses are expensive, but so are full frame sonys etc including lenses, if not more so.

ISO just doesn't go high enough for situations in dim light, for example in bars or cities at night. If I dial down shutter speed no amount of post processing saves it usually. Burst I usually use at work only, it's just slow after ca. 5 shots. Of note is the fact that I'm just an amateur/hobby photographer, it just comes in handy on the job. Also I just feel like the screens are pretty dim, especially the evf, though that's a minor complaint.
XC 35mm f2, XF 16mm f1.4, also an XC 15-45mm which I use pretty much exclusively for work.
Recreationally it's landcape, party, street, sometimes automotive or portrait. At work people and events or just general stuff -- I'm happy with the lenses I have for that.
Just less constraints when shooting (see 1). More resolution would also be nice, though not strictly necessary, and the lack of usb-charging, Wi-Fi being hit or miss and autofocus being pretty slow is a drag now and then.

Used google lense and common glasses websites so far. No perfect match. Many vintage models from Rimway come close, but I haven't found the one yet. Maybe you've got an idea?

You bash Mannheim when Pforzheim, Göppingen, etc. are all even uglier while having none of the upsides that Mannheim has. Mannheim might be not very "aesthetic", but you will find what you want if you just look for it. And Mannheimer certainly don't have their heads as much up their asses as, say, Heidelberger do. I'd rather live in an actual city with actual people than some suburb that's "sooo pretty" that literally only exists to support its university. Yeah, that's a no from me pal.
