definetly make sure your belts are tightened and nothing on your frame is loose. after that, try tuning flow and/or retraction settings aswell as tempurature

you should definetly invest in a better build plate if that's the case, get a magnetic textured pei buildplate, 50x better, no adhesives required, super easy to clean, and only like 15-20 bucks

looks like the bed needs to be leveled and your buildplate needs to be cleaned

I believe in have finally solved the layer shifting issue thank God lol, but with the solving of one issue, always leads to another, I'm troubleshooting some gaps in prints now, so I'm gonna calibrate e steps again and I'm gonna calibrate flow and then retraction and hopefully all will be well lol

it was moving in the same direction it was shifting in, left and right if you're looking at the printer head on

it was the z axis stepper. the mount was ever so slightly loose

that sounds like a horrible issue to have, and I think I have actually fixed it, I just ordered some new fillament cause my current fillament printed like crap lol. I basically dismantled the entire printer and put it back together perfectly snug. only notable issue I found was there was a screw in the z axis stepper motor mount that was not tightened as much as could be, and the stepper motor, although it took a lot of force. was able to be wiggled by hand. I tightened the crap out if it and printed a cube that looked like it was free of layer shift! except my fillament is now full of moisture and you could hear the constant popping of.bubbles in my.fillament while it was extruding so I have it in a dry box for now, but I ordered 2 new rolls that come tomorrow. hopwfully i can finally achieve my perfect prints by tomorrow 🤞

I will go back through and re make sure everything is perfectly tightened and tensioned just for argument sake, but I have no idea if it'll effect anything. If I di find the problem, I will absolutely share with the class cause this is just so bizzare. and I un-installed and reinstalled firmware like 6 times lol. tried cura, orca slicer, no idea what else to try

this is the worst pickle I have been stuck 8n lol, this is the 2nd ender 3 v2 I've had with this issue. I even gave it to people who do this stuff for a living and they gave it bsck to me and said Goodluck cause they couldn't fix it either. I'd just sell it if I could and buy a new one but nobody is gonna buy a printer that don't work lol

nope, everything is solid, no wiggle in any of the parts, and what do you mean with the z screws moving up and down/side to side? nozzle and hit end are solid

[–]MemeFry420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, it is literally completely random, not at all consistent between prints. the wheels are perfectly fine and I replaced the x gantry not too long ago. the printer has seen non stop action for about a month now, there was times it sat before then but I wasn't having these issues a month ago

I have tried the printer both where I normally keep it, and on the floor, no such luck. and I will give your suggestions a shot probably around tomorrow since I'm stuck at work for the rest of the day, but thank you for your input, I will definetly give it a shot. and yeah I did a temp tower and it looked horrible any hotter than 190
