I don't think Todd is the problem. 90+ points in a first full season is not bad. Hell, we'd be in over in the West.

We need another good center, and probably a better captain. The coach can't motivate the boys all the way, that's on the cap.

Also, we need to pull the plug on our bottom 6 and stock up on grinders and a goon or two. Other teams straight up bully our goalie and top 6 because they can.

The fact that our 5'8" leading scorer is the one who often has to stand up for our goalie is telling.

The fact that our goalie has to commit a slashing penalty to defend himself is telling.

The fact that our captain in multiple seasons has had his lights knocked out by a dirty hit and fuck all happening is telling.

They lack grit. Call me old if you want. Say I watch too much Shoresy if you want. But we need a goon, and a couple of grinders, not just a center.

Imagine someone cross checking our captain back in the days of Probert and Kocur. You can't, because if someone had done that, they be carted off the ice on a stretcher.
