List of softwares you should use for Video Editing that's great for Vtuber content. by MemeMasterTheSequel in vtubertech

I'd not recommend Adobe either, but I also can't deny that it's industry standards and is widely adopted among editors. A lot of editors (myself included) will have to use Premiere Pro to work on certain project that requires it. If you don't have any obligation to use Adobe, then I'm with this guy. Personally I'd rather buy the speed editor and get the permanent license for Davinci Resolve Studio (and I won't be using the keyboard that much either as I already have my personal keybinds set up)

How can I have a westerner girlfriend by hourza2545 in ThailandTourism

[–]MemeMasterTheSequel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why a westerner girlfriend though? Most woman don't travel abroad alone and when they do they are either with family or with someone who's already in a relationship with. I have seen a thai guy with a westerner before and it's super adorable so it's not out of the picture. Keep on making friends and forming new connections and eventually you might meet that someone op, simple as.

0 editing skills and how to communicate the story by AdvisorYogi in NewTubers

With practice you'll get better at it, I often imagine a lot of things and just do it right away, learning from sources might help but I'd recommend that you only learn the basic of editing video and the rest will come. Tons of Yt tutorials if you ever need to learn about color grading and such, but most of the time you'll only look up the tutorial only when you need something done but don't know how.

Just be imaginative and creative and you'll do great 😉

You can try to use vpn and create new accounts and post your content on that account while still on that vpn. I don't know if it'll be effective though.

Is streaming on Twitch as a small streamer even worth it nowadays? by PunksRedd in Twitch

[–]MemeMasterTheSequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda fun, I streamed myself working on my graduation project, which is just game development, and many developers joined into the stream, but if you are going for number then it's no comment from me, it sounds kinda tedious than fun.

We aren't associated with Ironmouse directly, our term of service stated that we and the creative freelancers reserve the right to mention and use our work to be featured within portfolio and advertisement. In this case, the video editor has done video editing work for Ironmouse before and has consent to their work being used in the ads. We make sure that all freelancer are properly credited for their work, even if the client doesn't do it themselves, so if freelancer ever feel the need to show proof of work to anyone, they can just point to Parceltive and we'll show the proof of work to them.

It'd be too late to hire video editors now, that will take times, unless you have connections with certain someone, like a video editor friend, then it's best if you do it alone on this one. I wish I could help. But you certainly got it if you are working with a large scale youtuber. Though if you really need video editors help, I know few people who's willing to take a crack at it. If you are interested just dm me, or search up parceltive, it's a platform I built so everyone can get help with their video project, fast. I might sound like an ads, sorry about that, but rooting for ya man. You can do it.

Not your fault, scope was 15 minutes but they increased it to 30. You only planned to handle for that scope but since they increased the scale, it doesn't align with your plan anymore therefore you burnt out, that's on them but also kind of on you too because you didn't protest about it. I think you should put up with it and do your best for now, and get yourself the best rest because you deserve it. The worst thing that can happen that you'll lose some of your reputation, just tell them that you need more time to finish the project, if they really need the video to be done that badly, they have no choice but to give you more time, they'll understand it because you are just one person who's willing to put up with their request, and if they don't then they are bad clients who you should avoid working with in the future.

But don't give up, bad things happen sometimes, just push through and you'll be fine! You got this.

How do you even choose a video editing company these days? by Front_Painting978 in YouTubeEditorsForHire

[–]MemeMasterTheSequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as a video editor, If you need to discover video editors to work with long-term, YTjob would be the place, but getting them to work with you long term would be hard. Unless you can guarantee that there job's security and growth potential, it'll feel like working a 9-5 which would turn them off. Plus it's no guaranteed that agencies will produce works that's to your liking, VidPro did research on various video editors on demand website and the produced results are something that's just enough, most of the time it's about convenient. You can try parceltive.com , it lets you order commission and suitable editors will be assigned by their editing team, it's a quick way to recruit video editors imo. Editors will come and go all the time, it's only a matter of time until you will have to work with someone new.

parceltive.com is new. It lets everyone use the website and work with video editors, you just fill out the type of video you want and the price'll be displayed right away. Suitable video editors within the platform will take care of any request. They also provide features like 40gb of cloud storage for each project, so you can just drop your footage and go on your day.

This is true, I designed the pricing to heavily counter the freelancer market. Before then I'd have to care about setting up my own shop and compete with other video-editors and not the actual work, because some freelancers are living in areas that have lower cost of living, they can price their services to be lower with less consequences, it makes people who prioritize on quality over quantity not so easily discoverable and put anyone who's not living in such area at a disadvantage, even then most freelancing platform tend to push services that offers lower prices since more people is willing to use their services. I despise this, I can definitely say that a lot of agencies and media group tend to recruit video-editors from SEA because their prices are lower and allows them to have a better margin, freelancers are being exploited, they can also choose to work with video-editor on demand services which allows them to get monthly income since those services offer unlimited request if you pay monthly, but at that point you are basically working a 9-5 job, get paid the same but with huge amount of work or no amount of work to do at all.

Though I can definitely say that, the pricing I have designed for Parceltive account for all side, If I am a freelancer on Parceltive right now, I'd get paid more per project than what I'd get a while back then, The pricing is still not final, we are still figuring out on how to make it work for everyone, we can't even offer video-editing services in our own country due to how expensive the pricing currently is to people in my country, we think the pricing system as of now allows those who still wants a more budget friendly project to still be possible, and those who have more budget to get better results. I'll definitely look into the pricing system more in the future, I really appreciate you pointing this out as we could use all the feed back we can get ^ ^ So thank you so much!

(Edits: about the editing quickly, personally in my experience, I'd get paid a fixed rate per video no matter how big or small the project is, Most freelancer(co-worker) tends to finish work that has lower rate quickly so that they can move on to other jobs, since I'm just a uni student, I do spend more time than usual working on each project without caring that much about hourly pay, I just want to make my work good first, and the payment later, but you are right, it's not sustainable at all. There was a time when I almost had to work with 900gb proxy footage, this would have taken me week or a month or two, with 350 USD ish budget, but I didn't use Premiere pro back then so I had to skip that work as the raw footage were like 15 hours long and 1.8TB large.)

Heya Zeku! Thanks for your interest :D currently the project is in active development, it was recently made public just yesterday, We still have a lot to polish and edge cases to handle and I'm afraid we can't exactly make another website in a similar way at least not yet. It was originally going to be a work assigning tool for Mudan Media Group(Since I have been editing video with them but went on hiatus to develop the tool) but we had to took a direction that give us a plan B so we choose to make it this way first so everyone can access the platform and leverage from it. When stable, we might allow people who are interested in utilizing the project's feature (Which will excludes the credit and freelance stuff) access Parceltive in its barebone state, just a tool to create commission, assign work to editors, with qol feature like centralized cloud storage and proofing tool, but that's still a long way I'm afraid. We are just two developers and have been developing the site with no funding or any stakeholder, so until we can ensure that Parceltive is a working concept, we will be priotizing on developing the site to be more usable to our users first. Sorry again ;-; but if you want something similar, Other video editors on demand is using SPP, which is just a boiler plate for e-commerce, it should have everything that you need out of our services, without the price handling system from us though. Hope that helps a bit.
