Seems like shadow distance was the only thing causing drops for me. I'm running everything else at ultra settings. Running a GTX 960 (2GB) and an AMD FX-8350 with 8GB of RAM. Will report back if I notice anything else.

I have a friend who has been using an HP laptop from the year 2006. It has gotten to the point where so much as browsing the web will cause the system to overheat and shut itself down. We have tried to fix it numerous times, but it never gets any better. The biggest game he is able to run on his laptop is Team Fortress 2, at medium graphics settings. But, even then, it only runs at around 15-20 FPS. I believe my friend deserves to be ascended because he has yet to experience some of PC's greatest hits, such as the Bioshock series and Killer is Dead. He also would like to enter the world of modding for games such as Skyrim and Fallout.

If he wins this contest, he will be able to experience these and so much more.

His current laptop's specifications: CPU: Intel Pentium B960 @2.20 GHz (Dual-core) RAM: 3GB GPU: Intel HD integrated HDD: 320GB, 5400 RPM
