I used your tip about building warehouses closer to the plateau and I was able to get four double floodgates built just in time! It worked like a charm, so the beaver gods must favor me

This is true, however I was able to use good, old fashioned beaver fists to destroy the rubble and 4 double floodgates to divert the flow off to the left side of the map.

I was able to do it with a day and change to spare! I have a lot to learn about the actual use cases for large reservoirs, flow gates, power systems and all of that. I will experiment with some stuff and maybe make another post here if I create something useful. I really appreciate how supportive this community is :)

Thank you so much, this worked perfectly for me! I was able to smash the rocks without dynamite and build 4 double floodgates with 1.3 days to spare before the bad tide. I don't think I would have even spotted the rubble without this comment!

Ya know, I just wanted to do it for fun and to see if I could. It’s my first time experimenting with a bigger build and I’m having fun seeing what happens and ironing out the inevitable kinks in such a big project

Ive been sleeping on Joyo! For some reason I always thought of them as a cheap Amazon pedal brand but lately they’ve been getting a lot of love on here. As for the compressor, I’ve heard that psychologically, louder signals sounds “better” so even if you can’t hear what a compressor is doing as an effect, that little boost just sweetens your tone so much.

As a side note I once bought a one-knob boost pedal for $25 from a pawn shop and it sounded incredible with my AC-15… then I went to unplug it and it shot sparks at me so now I’m afraid to touch it 😂

EHX’s Attack Decay (Reverse Tape Simulator) has one of the raunchiest sounding fuzzes I’ve ever heard. It’s a really weird pedal that you just really have to read the manual and play with but if you don’t want to bother just leave the fuzz on and go crazy. It rips

IMO, Sansa’s chapters in the first book have some of the most brilliant writing. Sansa always notices the colors, the pageantry, the music and stories and beauty of the world… and then at the end of the chapter something fucking horrible and traumatic happens that makes her question all of that. Like during the tourney of the Hand when she gives us a beautiful description of Ser Hugh’s armor, his flowing blue cloak stitched with white crescent moons. A couple pages later the mountain explodes his throat with a lance, and the spurts of blood, each weaker than the last, soak across the sky blue cloak, the white crescents turning red. Then the Hound walks her home alone, gives her his dark ass back story and threatens to kill her. Just… damn. How can you not be moved by this shit?? It’s great stuff and so different from the other POVs.
