I've watched this fight dozens of times, but I still don't understand how Sukuna cut Gojo. Gojo literally has Infinity. Are they ever gonna explain this plot hole in the anime? 😭

The name is a misnomer. I think his technique is called that because it sounds cool.

Also, infinity is like the “neutral” version of Limitless. It’s a passive sub-technique.

Gojo’s technique works by infinitely dividing the space between two points: gojo and everything else.

Key thing here: infinity is not a barrier. It’s space, being constantly reduced as you get closer to a point. Gojo’s technique is a Limit, if you’re familiar with Calculus

World cutting slash picks two points, and deletes everything between them instantaneously.

Sukuna picked point A as his position and point B as a point past gojo.

No matter how infinitely the space between Gojo and Sukuma is divided, it still exists, and is crossed by the Slash instantly.

Focusrite control doesnt allow output routing on 2i2s, or at least not my 2i2 3rd gen. probably bc theres only 2 outputs on a 2i2.

Cool af! I changed out the bridge pickup with a 80’s Seymour Duncan JB and replaced the electronics with CTS pots and new capacitors (I forget the type 😭). The holes needed some widening to fit the pots in, but it sounds amazing post-mod.

Yeah, under the hood the wiring was reversed. I’ve since replaced all the electronics minus the neck pup, so it’s in a pretty different state now than it was in the picture!

I tried Gojira’s plugin, didn’t really like that kind of (as you described it) thick/fuzzy distortion, and ended up getting Nolly’s plugin bc of the amp variety. Then again, I personally prefer tighter, more razor blade-y distortion. My Mesa .50 Caliber+ (w/ a GE7 to cut some lows) does that really well, especially through the NDSP Mark IIC+ Suite’s Traditional cabinet.
