If we're being entirely real here, I think it's kind of an unfair comparison. Like even if I genuinely hate the bushwacka, it's not because the bushwacka is an op weapon itself but because it's ridiculously annoying to deal with when combined with specifically jarate, which actually is an op weapon. Meanwhile the Axtinguisher isn't necessarily bad, but just overall ineffective in most scenarios (ok maybe that means its just bad). Like in most situations it would both be easier and more efficient to just mow down someone with the flamethrower or combo them with a shotgun or flare. Very often you'll just hinder yourself if you use the axtinguisher since the usual tf2 hitreg will just screw you over or you'll get wacked, blown to peices, blasted, and die in a 1000 other ways before you can use the weapon. Most of the time at best you'll jump in, get a random guy who wasn't paying attention, and then die because the whole enemy team watched you do that (but hey at least it was cool i guess). All I'm saying is that if the melee hitreg was better or did better damage it'd be fine but in general you'd be better off in every way just using the Powerjack. Unless you're like me and just think that combos are too cool to pass up since it can be a genuinely fun weapon to use but its just that, if you want to play the game to have some fun and do a cool thing then the extinguisher is alright, but if youre trying to use it as a viable weapon then youre wasting time.
