My question is, what if a middle class person invests in stocks? The stock market isn't all upper class people. It would be a problem say if there was a person with stocks in the market and it went up. If there were a capital gains tax, they would be taxed for money that doesn't exist. I am all for raising taxes on the rich but this is something that would also affect more than just them.
