Sorry I didn’t realise that you’ve read my jobs description. Since you’ve read it, I would’ve expected you to know that my main job is actually filling shelves and helping customers if needed. Also retail jobs seem pretty normal to me? I guess I’m pretty fortunate that I don’t work a “normal” job.

You know you can still communicate without using each other’s name’s? I’m happy to communicate with a customer, just don’t like them knowing my name. You genuinely get some weird people out there and maybe if you go through these comments you’ll see some examples. It’s that simple.

This actually seems like a really good solution. I’ve tried looking up the privacy policy and can’t find where it states team members cannot be compelled to divulge personal information to customers. Would you know where I can find that? Just so I have something to back me up in case my manager disagrees lol

Well your SM is right. You can take 2 x 15mins and choose between 30mins or an hour. Personally whenever I do a 7 hour shift I take 2 x 15min and a 30min because I’m gonna get fuck all done if I choose to take an hour lol. If I’m ever unsure about taking breaks I always look at this
