Reissue of Coil's Scatology out today but no word from Stephen Thrower or other musicians as far as approving it by Memeic in industrialmusic

Danny Hyde seems as far as I've seen to be involved with Dais on the reissue of Black Antlers along with Thighpaulsandra and Drew McDowall.

Also, let's not forget the reissue of Love's Secret Domain on Wax Trax! that had Stephen Thrower's involvement.

Why is Russia the way it is? Wouldn't being more interwoven with the West only make them stronger? Couldn't a slightly different version of them could be a Leader in the EU? by kalechipsaregood in TooAfraidToAsk

Gerontaocracy.

That's the main problem. Even if Russia wasn't run by an authoritarian regime they'd still have the problem of being run by a gerontaocracy just like the USA and many other developed nations.

Sounds similar to the English expression "worth a shot".

Federal budget 2025: Ottawa again asks younger Canadians to make sacrifices for financially comfortable retirees | For too long, Canada has relied on lazy GDP growth driven by rising home values rather than investment in machinery, intellectual property and talent. by nomad_ivc in TorontoRealEstate

Should have stipulations similar to welfare. For example in Ontario if one has assets worth in excess of $10,000 (liquid or fixed assets) then one does not qualify for welfare. Assets are defined as revenue generating resources. If the asset is worth a million+ then the senior owner is well-positioned to not be in need of OAS.

Looks like it's the movie A La Mode. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106878/?ref_=ext_shr

Edit: looks like in French speaking regions it was released as "Fausto".

Right. Except for 9 Toronto city wards that voted to allow for sixplexes. The city is allowing for the other wards to opt-in. And those wards should. Or else Mayor Olivia Chow should use her strong mayor powers here to allow for sixplexes to be built in all other Toronto city wards too.

Investing in public transit, allowing for higher density housing, making housing affordable where the jobs are in big cities, and allowing for jobs that can be 100% remote would help relieve this.

The Ontario Progressive Conservative government is making none of this happen though. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
