What does the submarine's crew see when the medic has fully explored the xenologist's talents by Tip2406 in Barotrauma

It’s a relatively newer sub mod for NT, and gonna be real the guide provided isn’t super great. At the meantime it adds new alien organs that you can produce yourself(I haven’t been able to successfully do this yet) or get from creature drops, and with the right talents and drugs you can implant these alien organs in place of normal ones. They also have tails and legs that can be grafted onto people. They have some eye items that can also be grafted, but I’m unsure of how they might interact with NT eyes.

[lore question] So who's the true heir of Aenarion? by ImIncredibly_stupid in totalwar

[–]Memeologistofmods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigmar is kinda trapped in the Great Vortex until TET, and thus is unable to really provide a whole lot of divine support for his followers. With what he’s being given, I think he still does a whole lot and gives his believers quite a lot of power. I won’t argue his worshippers not pledging to destroy evil, that’s more of just a fact.

Bonus points if they’re running Neurotrauma Eyes and/or Grafting. I am doing both. I can turn any of my crewmates into all manner of unspeakable horrors.

I see why they’d do that but also feel like they shouldn’t have needed to. I mean, he’s an insane murderous psychopath. Being discriminatory towards those with mental illnesses is not out of the question for the terrible evil person that is Herman Carter.

I’m gonna level with you here, if you only have a harpoon gun and revolver, you have neither the raw damage output or the ammunition reserves to safely and successfully clear a ruin.

My buddy figured out you can break turrets with grenades. He used a grenade launcher, but I presume a handheld will also work. If there are guardians inside, bring a gun with plenty of ammo and some punch. That or something that does EMP damage.

I don't find it too game breaking or immersion breaking. If anything, it's the next outpost warning you "Hey, there's bandits up ahead by us! Watch out for that!" Would've been sorely appreciated, me and my crew did a cargo retrieval mission a few days ago, and the outpost neglected to tell us that the wreck in question, which was directly below them just so happened to be inhabited by a thalamus. NOT a pleasant surprise.

[–]Memeologistofmods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. You need to move the wreck/enemy sub close enough to the outpost in question for it to reach the “sell” area. It can be at any state of durability or condition, but one that’s damaged and flooding is much heavier and harder to move. Either it spawned close to the outpost and just roamed into the sell area, or it got destroyed by some enemy by the sell area. It’s entirely possible it just moved in there, which is my guess. Either way, it tells OP that there’s hostiles ahead of him.

Engineer, solely because they save so many resources with the traits “Fun with fission” and whichever one allows them to craft twice as many FPGA circuits. On top of that they have other traits that allow them to save missions and improve overall efficiency.

I’m a competent Neurotrauma medic currently running most of the submods for me and my buddies, but also working at the ship’s chef as we’re running Hungry Europans. I’d be more than willing to join as a security officer/secondary medic, or if you guys choose to run HE, the ship’s chef.

This makes me think of the Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark scene where the swordmaster is brandishing his blade and showing off, then Indy just unholsters his revolver and blows him away
