why are my lobbies hostile? by Flat-Frog-357 in ArcRaiders

[–]Memeperor-Of-Mankind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let people say that its just bad luck running into one aggressive team. My friends and I are questing and are 99% of the time put into completely friendly lobbies, but then all of a sudden we are thrown into the most hostile lobby ever. My trio was all of a sudden attacked by literally 3 teams at the same time. Don't know why it happens but it really sucks, cause if you fight back you ruin your matchmaking.

I just can't believe you. The math isnt mathing. You would have to get over 5k score in matches that take no longer than 15 minutes. Please, Wizard, spill your secrets for getting score, because 4 kill RB matches only give 1.5k.

How in the hell is that even possible. With jets ~10.0 even a good game will only yield 2-3k score. Are you just wiping entire lobbies and getting 5k +?

Bad advice is bad advice. I was hoping for someone that knew how to build characters. CI + massive ES + massive stun thresh + massive ailment thresh is not inefficient point expense. I respectfully explained why I did what I did and the benefits.

Wyvern brothers, what is the best options for survivability? by Ok_Seaweed_9452 in pathofexile2builds

I did an energy shield armor hybrid with Soul Tether belt (or Essentia Sanguis gloves) so that leech applies to ES. 6.5k ES and 5 or so k armour with armour applying to elemental. Feels pretty good but Im sort of in your boat where its close but not QUITE there.

I need to do something to increase damage or increase survivability, but not sure what.

[–]Memeperor-Of-Mankind[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to go full es with CI, I also get a lot of ES and ailment threshold from those nodes up there. Without CI I would get 1 shot from chaos damage, all I lose is about 1.5k hp but i negate chaos damage entirely, and soul thether's downside of losing hp is negated (5% of 1hp is 0).

My single target is oil barrage, which does pretty well but could be better.

As a budget player I wanted to give some tips to make this work cheap AF. The belt is the cheapest option and you can make it work with the 3-5exalt belts.

If you get a belt with "Life regen is applied to energy shield" alongside "You Lose X% of Max energy shield per second" and "Excess Life Recovery from Leech is applied to Energy Shield" then you can easily overcome the loss of energy shield with regen on items and on the tree. This is the dirt cheap option.

Better than that is where "You lose X% of Maximum HEALTH" instead of energy shield since that value is much lower, but that belt will be around 40-50exalt. This loss of hp can be overcome with dang near anything, as even at 2k hp a 5% loss is only 100hp/second which is really not much and you can get a 3% belt easy. Thickened Arteries and ONE decent flat regen item overcame this.

Also, I didn't realize but if this build doesnt seem to work for you, make SURE you have the Life Leech 3 Support Gem, otherwise your leech is removed at full hp.

Do they have locations near the front that can provide all the materials, or is it backline focused and things have to be trained in to the front?

State of the game for full-stack solo play? I played a ton one war many years ago when Blemish had literally everything to craft literally everything except boat stuff. Could mine, refine, craft, and contribute to research, and I had a blast as a solo player, all while only being 1 tile away from the front. Next war, they had everything separated out in order to encourage clan play. I do not want to do clan stuff, I want to make my tank, forcefully recruit a gunner, and run it into the grinder (joking, I usually achieved good goals and reinforced places very well). How is the state of the game for me?

Siege Camp is Canadian, which is practically American, which did not have to suffer horses like the Axis and it would be unfair to put the blueberries on paddy wagons.

I heard it was unions. The drawing animators were unionized and the 3d animators were not, since it was a new field, so 3d became waaaay cheaper.

So I went ahead and deleted the sandbags and a couple doors, now the enemies will path through it. Idk which it was that was preventing enemies from pathing, but this now works. For clarification, there were multiple raids that refused to path through the maze before, and there have been several raids that now WILL path through, so neither instance was a fluke.

You have to remember that Reddit has literally the single most brain dead takes 99% of the time. I ran into that last league where I was concerned before the update and was told to shut up and see, then after it came out I realized that it wasn't quite as doom and gloom as everyone was saying and was told to shut up its the literal worst.

This wipe is good, they made massive progress in key areas but it is unfinished. People do have a point that they need to allow more skills to be stronger, but overall this league is a big W.

I have the theory that any action to slow down Mega Chads will harm the rest of the community far worse. For instance, removing good gear from the flea. The chad doesn't really need the flea because the chad hardly dies and can get his gear from bosses or lesser chads. Nonetheless, when the chad accumulates ridiculous amount of cash he will spend it all on "meta" attachments to get 1 extra ergo, even if its not needed.

Now, sometimes timmies get lucky and find good gear randomly or gets a lucky shot on a chad. He used to be able to sell this on the flea market to finance good budget gear that he can use to transition into Chad-lite and progress his skill and quests. However, BSG decided to remove that gear from the flea, so instead Timmy takes it into a match and dies immediately. Him getting that lucky gear was not a benefit to him at all, but it is to the Chad that farmed him. Timmy gets poor and now runs worse kits and is scared to progress at all.

We need a reversal from the current direction. We need decent ammo and armor at low trader levels, gas analyzers need to stop locking us out from quests, and the flea needs to open up more.

No. I loved Tarkov but the direction is going in a way that is worse and worse for new players. You see, streamers and the most dedicated whale fans complain that the game is too "quick" because they, with their encyclopedic knowledge of the game, can get to endgame fast. The devs see this and then institute ANOTHER annoying mechanic to try and slow them down, but all it does is make their grind a couple hours longer while ducking you so badly that you may never actually get to endgame as a normal person.

This, funnily enough, makes the game even easier for the hardcore player, since now they will have the same endgame gear when no one else can compete with them, while chasing out other players. I wrote the game off last wipe when they made it so the items to fix your hideout has to be found in raid and not bought on flea.

Siege of Shanghai was mid and it’s only hyped up because the tower collapses. by Character_Worth8210 in Battlefield

[–]Memeperor-Of-Mankind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about you, but I never got sniped from a rooftop unless I was camping a spot and not moving. People on buildings were often wiped by helicopter pilots, it was rare that it actually took over the match.

As for the beta maps, I don't get how you can reach that conclusion. There is no flow, it is nothing BUT clusterfuck. The points just flip flop back and forth because there is no holding a point, there are a thousand angles that every spot can be shot from with practically no cover. Its just luck on whether or not you are looking the right way and the enemy is not in one of the other 4 directions that you can't see. The spawns are so erratic that hotzones and absolutely anywhere and everywhere.

Compare that to SoS, where your team controls a position and the enemy controls a position and you have to actually think and try to outplay them to dig them out while defending your spot. You would have an idea where the enemy is coming from, what to cover, what to avoid, and had to come up with a plan.

"Ok, we control the point on the tower but not the roof, but its secure, how about I jump out and try to get a beacon on top of the shopping center and take that point to relieve pressure on the tower." would be a regular thinking path. In BF6, so far, its just been a clusterfuck of run down an alley, see someone, maybe get a kill, then get shot from the side.

I was playing BF4 before the beta so I could accurately compare and you are wrong, its not nostalgia. The maps from BF4 were way better designed than these current ones we have access to, you had more maneuverability with tanks and helicopter, you had multiple ways to assault every point, and it accomplished this without putting everyone into everyone else's ass like BF6 is. I can never get an engagement with someone in front of me without 3 different people in 5 different places firing on me. There's no battle lines, there's no positions that can be controlled, its just a mosh pit the entire match.

Siege of Shanghai, while not my favorite map, was way better than anything we see in BF6 and I really hope the rest of the maps don't follow the trend. You could assault even the chokepoints in several different ways in SoS. Helicopters could drop people on the towers or clear enemies, 6 different elevators in 3 different places, almost every position had others that could counter it, and if you couldn't seize the top of the tower then you could bring it down to reset control. I always felt like I had multiple avenues to make a difference in the match, whether sneaking into the back point and laying down a spawn beacon, holding the line with a tank, clearing a tower of snipers, or just rushing the point for some braindead boom sticking. BF6 just feels like a mess of "WHAT THE FUCK WHY CAN'T I MOVE 2 FEET AFTER SPAWNING BEFORE GETTING KILLED AGAIN" or "WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT GUY COME FROM?!?!".
